Uh Oh.
We are going on a holiday to the cat hotel next week. Mum is going to visit her parents, and we are not allowed on the plane. Something about passports or something. She feels awful guilty, and we've been milking it in a way only cat's can. This is resulting in copious amounts of Fancy Feast!
In better news, I can tell you about the developments with the kittens. The timing has worked out perfectly with them. They are going in to stay at the vet on Monday and will be desexed on Tuesday, which is the day we go to the cat hotel. Dino's body condition is looking really good now. He has muscles and even a bit of bulk. Barney has learned a lot about relaxing, and while we don't think he will ever be much of a cuddlepuss, he is much more confident in himself and around people.

Cat in a Box
Thankyou for coming to my party, everybuddy!
I've got these boys in the palm of my paw!
These are older pictures from when the Darcy kittens were still staying with us.
I have to tell you about our new little kitten. He doesn't have a name yet. He was found in a squash court nearby and was brought into the vet. He stayed at the vet for 10 days before coming home with us. We're a little bit worried about this little one, because he is so skinny. He hides it well under his furs, but underneath his coat he is skin and bone. Every bone can be felt, and there is no muscle mass at all. He weighs 800grams, but based on his frame mum thinks he should be closer to 1.5 kilos. For now, we're keeping him warm, feeding him good foods and giving him lots of cuddles.
I hope you have a warm, well fed snuggly weekend! :)
Love Suey.

Georgie Says...
Welcome to my weekend round up. Literally. Guess what came into mum's work this morning.
This little lamb chop, closest to the bottom of the picture. Call me crazy, but I think she could be one of us. A lady found her in her garden (sound familiar?!). She is the same size as us, and seems to be at the same developmental stage. My foster mum is intrigued. We are calling her Luna. She was covered in fleas, which are now all gone. When my foster mum started washing the dirt off her, she had to do a double take thinking she was hurt- there was so much flea dirt dissolving that it looked like blood. We are glad she is now more comfortable.
In other news, Ronny is going to have his photo taken with Santa Claws tomorrow. Part of the proceeds go to help the animals at the RSPCA. He also has another nickname. Meet:

And here is a funny photo of Suey relaxing in a really weird position. She is still very pretty though.
I hope you have a happy weekend.

PretaPawte- 3 Months On
Hi kitties:)
This is my first collar, from when I was a tiny little kitten. See the way I shredded it? I am very rough on my collars. I like to scratch and paw at them, and spin them around.
This was my second collar. Fui had the same one in black for 2 years. Mine lasted a month before it became too difficult to do up.
Nearly three months ago, I got a PretaPawte collar. I posted about it here. Mum was getting one for Fui as his old collar was a bit rough on his neck, and thought she might as well get me one too. They were just too cute to turn down! Knowing my collar destroying history, mum was a little bit concerned at how long it would last, especially when she felt how light it was when it arrived.
After three months, this is what my collar looks like. The only bit of damage I have been able to do is a slight pull on the label. The collar itself looks nearly brand new. Mum is so happy with it!
At US$13.50 for a cat collar, it has been fantastic value. During a three month period earlier in the year, I lost or destroyed $40 worth of collars. Also, for each cat collar sold, they donate $1 to the Cat Protection Society, which is where the PretaPawte muse Alvin was adopted from. How cool is that!:)
The little babies are growing. Mum made some kitten slings for when she is moving around with them. Because of our Snugglesafe failure the other night, she put one in the baby box, and they all piled in to use it as a sleeping bag. It was very cute. It is lined in fleece, which reflects body heat.
The babies are very snuggley with each other. I am happy that Harry gets to have his siblings with him. I know how much I loved being reunited with my sibling.
Ron is a bit of a pesky kitten. When the other two are asleep, he will charge straight into them and wake them up. That is the cue for the screaming kitten chorus!
The babies eyes look about ready to open. They are still sealed, but have become quite dark. A few times now, mum and dad have thought there is a little kitten squinting at them. All three are now on bottles. Ron takes a while to start drinking, but looks to be developing quite a good suckling reflex.
Their co-ordination is coming ahead in leaps and bounds. Mum is quite amazed. These are very different kittens to Stella's babies. Mum realises now just how bad the situation was with them. She knows it sounds a bit silly, but likes to think that these three are the three babies who passed away, back for a second chance.
We hope you have a wonderful healthy week:)

I Love My Daddy!
Because he sent me this wonderful box! He must have spent all day looking in the shops, because it is just my size.
It is a great box for both relaxing and playing.
It made a great fort when the Moimoi attacked, too.
My daddy is the best ever:)

P.S. Mum has her driving test tomorrow. She is nervous, so if you could spare a purr, we'd appreciate it!:)

The Outrage!
I have some shocking news. SHOCKING! Do you know what the woman who calls herself my mum did to me? SHE CUT MY NAILS!!!!! Like I was a little baby kitten!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't had my nails clipped since I was a baby, because I used to keep them worn down playing outside. Now that I'm incarcerated, they were growing like crazy.
Do you know who's fault it was that I got clipped?
SUEY'S!!!!! She likes to knead in the lap of the woman formerly known as my mum, and her claws were starting to pinch. And somehow I got roped in, too!!!

Mum's Phone
This is the wallpaper on Mum's phone. Am I cute or what?!
I like to call this photo 'Fui- Busted'. Look at him trying to lick mum's toast! And to think he has the audacity to say it is me who is naughty, because I am a torti!

I'm happy to admit I am a little bit silly, though. This is me playing a game with mum, or as she calls it, 'Stop Being Such a Pain and Leave My Pen in Peace!'.
I hope you had a day of sunshines:)

The perfectionist:

He likes to charge in on me, and make me jump out of my box.
Brothers!
Sometimes, I enjoy leaning in and having a little chew on the pegs.
Today, my play time was ruined by a little white kitten who should know better.
I'm out of here.+1.jpg)
