Hi kitties:)
This is my first collar, from when I was a tiny little kitten. See the way I shredded it? I am very rough on my collars. I like to scratch and paw at them, and spin them around.
This was my second collar. Fui had the same one in black for 2 years. Mine lasted a month before it became too difficult to do up.
Nearly three months ago, I got a PretaPawte collar. I posted about it here. Mum was getting one for Fui as his old collar was a bit rough on his neck, and thought she might as well get me one too. They were just too cute to turn down! Knowing my collar destroying history, mum was a little bit concerned at how long it would last, especially when she felt how light it was when it arrived.
After three months, this is what my collar looks like. The only bit of damage I have been able to do is a slight pull on the label. The collar itself looks nearly brand new. Mum is so happy with it!
At US$13.50 for a cat collar, it has been fantastic value. During a three month period earlier in the year, I lost or destroyed $40 worth of collars. Also, for each cat collar sold, they donate $1 to the Cat Protection Society, which is where the PretaPawte muse Alvin was adopted from. How cool is that!:)
The little babies are growing. Mum made some kitten slings for when she is moving around with them. Because of our Snugglesafe failure the other night, she put one in the baby box, and they all piled in to use it as a sleeping bag. It was very cute. It is lined in fleece, which reflects body heat.
The babies are very snuggley with each other. I am happy that Harry gets to have his siblings with him. I know how much I loved being reunited with my sibling.
Ron is a bit of a pesky kitten. When the other two are asleep, he will charge straight into them and wake them up. That is the cue for the screaming kitten chorus!
The babies eyes look about ready to open. They are still sealed, but have become quite dark. A few times now, mum and dad have thought there is a little kitten squinting at them. All three are now on bottles. Ron takes a while to start drinking, but looks to be developing quite a good suckling reflex.
Their co-ordination is coming ahead in leaps and bounds. Mum is quite amazed. These are very different kittens to Stella's babies. Mum realises now just how bad the situation was with them. She knows it sounds a bit silly, but likes to think that these three are the three babies who passed away, back for a second chance.
We hope you have a wonderful healthy week:)

The baby photos are all wonderful! It is such a joy to see them growing. We can't wait for the eyes to open. And we like the idea that they are "second chance kittens!"
That collar looks great. We are going to check out the site.
Your Friends,
Tommy, Tama-Chan and Sei-Chan
Mum says she might look into getting one of those collars for me, since I am very hard on mine too.
Yay for the kitties getting bigger and stronger!

We don't think that your Mom is silly at all.
Those babies are so lucky!
We love your collar!
Your collar is great. I don't really destroy mine, but I sometimes lose them.
The kittens look like they are doing well - we are super pleased.
cool collar! i am very impressed it has held up to your destructive powers all this time.
OK, now to the kittens. mommy made a noise over the cuteness that i think only dogs could hear. we read their story below. what amazing fighters they are! if Bendrix ever finds the *&@%*^! "person" who dumped them....well, bad things will happen.
we must go back to making squeeing noises over the little cutenesses. we will send many purrs their way for health and strength
Awwww... that little sling is so kyoot! We can already see that Harry, Ron and Hermione are looking better, and we are thrilled!
We will not keep a collar on, so Mom just gave up a few years ago. We are microchipped, just in case we ever get lost. Hopefully, that will never be an issue.
These three babies sure are little fighters! It's very fun to watch them go through each little kitten stage.
We wear collars too, Suey. We like to scratch ours and so we've been through a few. Now we wear Beastie Bands...they are very lightweight and fasten with strong velcro. There's a place where you can put tags on. They are stretchy so sometimes I can get mine off, 'specially when me and Wally are wrasslin'.
We are so enjoying the progress of Harry, Ron and Hermione...

Aren't they cute lil' fellers? I'm so glad you're sharing them with us.
I'm pretty hard on my collars-I scratch'em and twist'em..but sometimes, mom gets me a new one just 'cause. I don't mind.
That is a very good thought that Stella's babiescould have a second chancce in these three! That is a pretty collar and sturdy, too
Hi guys!! Thanks for the purrs for Mom :) She is feeling way better now :)
We loved catching up on all your news. What a fantastic job your Mom is doing with the kittens too !! Maybe they are Stella's kittens come back as they are in need of a mom and it looks like they found one :)
Good to see you and Fui doing so well too!!
Purrs Mickey,Georgia & Tillie
We are all so in love with these little baby kittens we can hardly stand it. They are so beyond adorable. We feel honored to be able to see them get bigger and stronger everyday.
That looks like an awesome collar too!
Those baby kitties look like they are getting the loving care that they need! We are glad they have you mom to share with you!! We are hoping the best for them!
I like the way your Mom thinks!
So pleased that the collar is able to stand up to your destructive powers!
so many people think that becasue they are lightweight they will not last but really they are so light weight that cats don't even know they are wearing them.
That is great that you found a collar that you like and can't wreck quickly!
And the babies are so cute! I am glad they are doing so well!
It is a beautiful collar. With so many collars out there these days, one can always find a cat collar that match your style. Try consider leather collar next time, they are more durable and less sticky to hairs.
