Hi Kitties!

We're home and settled now after our week at Pawpaws. We had a great stay, but we're happy to be home. We've been enjoying re-furring up our beds and seeing how much food we can scam out of mum. On the way to Pawpaws, Lishy decided to put on a show. Mum and dad pulled over when he puked through the door of his carrier. Then they pulled over again when he pooped in it. Unfortunately, they were too late to stop him sitting in it... so he made a rather unglamorous entry to the hotel.
Our good friend Greta picked us up, and Lishy put on a repeat performance for her. Thankfully though he managed to avoid landing in it. Thankyou Greta for bringing us home safe and sound :) There are not a lot of people that I get along with, but Greta is my great buddy :)
We're looking forward to catching up with everybody now that things are settling down a bit on our end. Keep having a happy week!
Love Suey.

We're Back!

Hi kitties! We're home safe and sound from Pawpaws, and mum is home from her trip too. Thankyou very much for all the lovely Gotcha Day messages. It's awesome having such great friends. Our mum also says thankyou for the kind messages about her and dad's news.

I also have some more great news. Our stays at Pawpaws have been really good for my relationship with my Saussysister. After our first stay, she started to clean me. That makes me so happy that I dribble. Last night, for the first time, we slept curled up together in my mum's lap. I think she must have secretly been going to Big Sister lessons while we were on holiday.

Have a happy weekend :)
Love Lishy.

We're Baaaa-aaack!

Hi everybody! It's Suey Sunshine-Sausage here, back at last. We came home from PawPaws yesterday afternoon. The three of us sat in our carriers yelling at mum for the whole trip home. She said it was exactly what she needed after being up since 3am and mucking around in air ports, so we are glad we could help her. We had a good time at PawPaws. It is a bit different to other boarding facilities in that we are allowed out of our runs, and if we are comfortable and well behaved are able to interact with the other kitties there. Fui and Lishy made some good friends and did lots of playing, but I chose to keep to myself and got loving from the lovely Morgan instead.
Mum was worried about me as I developed a nasty case of cystitis last year after staying at the boarder and flying down to Sydney. Morgan kept a close eye on me and gave mum an up to the minute litterbox report each time she called, which was very good for mum. When mum picked us up, she got to see how we were behaving before we noticed she was there. Lishy was being a little monkey on the cat tree with his friend Chai, Fui was sitting inside a big bird cage playing with a wand toy, and I was writhing in a sun puddle. We need to go back to the boarder in a month when mum abandons us again, so she is very happy to have found one we seem happy in.

Today we spent lots of time in the garden helping mum hang out the washing. Our long dead pots of cat grass came back to life while we were away, so we put in a lot of effort choming on those. It is very good to be home! :)

Uh Oh.

We are going on a holiday to the cat hotel next week. Mum is going to visit her parents, and we are not allowed on the plane. Something about passports or something. She feels awful guilty, and we've been milking it in a way only cat's can. This is resulting in copious amounts of Fancy Feast! In better news, I can tell you about the developments with the kittens. The timing has worked out perfectly with them. They are going in to stay at the vet on Monday and will be desexed on Tuesday, which is the day we go to the cat hotel. Dino's body condition is looking really good now. He has muscles and even a bit of bulk. Barney has learned a lot about relaxing, and while we don't think he will ever be much of a cuddlepuss, he is much more confident in himself and around people.
I for one am glad they're going. There are too many boys in this house at the moment!
