Under My Wings

I have a special announcement to make. I have decided, for the first time ever, to take a little kitten under my wings. Alice and Henry Darcy are our 51st and 52nd fosters, so it hasn't taken me that long... I have come a long long way from the night I crouched on the bed and spat at mum when I first realised we had a kitten in the house. The last few litters we have had, I have happily sat and watched them. With this little girl, I am taking an active interest. I follow her around sometimes, and even had a little play! It must be the eyes. They are pretty mesmerising.

A Quiet Day

While Luna and Lishy were away, and Fui was snoozing upstairs,
We hung out.

It was nice.

Our Plans

This weekend, we are planning on relaxing. Snuggles and cuddles and snoozes sound just right to us.
We're not getting caught up in the craziness of the shopping centres, that's for sure! We'll also be on our best behaviour. Santa Paws is watching closely, you know!
Love Fui, Suey and Ronny.

Breaking Bread

Guess what everybuddy. Fui, Suey and I have come to an arrangement. They let me share their food. And I let them share my food! We eat the same kind of foods, too. I even get to share some foods with Freddie and Georgie.

When they have their feeds, I am allowed to finish off the leftover formula that wasn't in their syringes. I love formula. It is delicious! In closing, food is good, and so are friends and family.

I had a big day today. I went to the vet for blood tests and tests on my wee. They should give us a better idea of what is going on with my insides. We should have the results in a day or two.

Ronny Licious, House Kitten

Hello! I have now been an out of the crate real for true house kitten for a whole day! My mum said it has gone more smoothly than she dared to imagine. I slept in the bedroom last night, just inside the door. Fui slept on the bed and Suey slept in her ham-mick. Everyone was relaxed, which is very cool. I haven't forgotten to use the litterbox, either! I have enjoyed being a house kitten. I spent time watching my mum help Fui and Suey write Christmas cards last night (which reminds me, if you would like a card from us, please email us at Fui_and_Suey AT hotmail DOT com).
I had a really big play with both this wand toy and the Cat Dancer. Suey even played with me for a little while, which was really cool! After all the fun and games, I had a really big sleep in my mousie tent. It's exhausting being a house kitten!:)
We would like to send the biggest purrs we can muster to our lovely friends who are embarking on a really big adventure. We are very excited for you!:)

Come Here

Closer! I have a secret about Fuifui "I snuck under the gap in the fence mum hasn't blocked up yet then pranced infront of her while she hissed 'get back here' while hanging over the fence trying not to look like the neighbourhood stalker" Moimoi.
When mum caught him and carried him back inside, she had one arm supporting his chest and the other scruffing him. Like a little kitten!!!!!! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

I think I hear someone coming.
Don't tell him I told you... just giggle at him under your breath. Hahahahaha!

Welcome!!!

Welcome to our garden party in honour of the Two Month birthday of our Hogwarts Three! We have cat grass, stinky goodness and Temptations for the kitties, liver treats and biscuits for the woofies, and chocolate cake for the humans! There are some good pavers to roll and writhe in the sunshines, too. It feels so good on your furs! So dig in!:)
Now, to introduce the guests of honour:
Little Harry as he was when we met him-

And little big Harry now!

Little baby Hermione when we met her-
And little big Hermione now!
Little baby Ron when we met him-
And little big Ronnylicious now!
Feel free to sniff the kittens if you want to.
They smell very yummy. Even mum and dad have great big sniffs from time to time! Thankyou for coming to our party:)

Quiet Words on Wednesday

I have something to admit. It's about those pesky little kittens.
They are kind of growing on me.
But just a little bit.

Melbourne Cup Day

Today the Melbourne Cup was run in Melbourne. That is the day that two very patient kitties pose in fascinators! Hahaha:)
It was nice to watch the big strong horses run around. Mum loves horses, and has decided that she is going to take herself for riding lessons when dad is away next. Maybe she will be able to be a jockey in next years races! Hahahaha! That idea made me laugh so hard my ears came loose.

Blast From the Past.

Do you remember these two? Baby Ellie and Baby Angus? We can't tell which is which in the baby photo. They were very similar when they were older. When they were still little tiny babies, they were identical!!!
Here they are with their mum Stella when they were 4 weeks old. She was a very very good mum.
This is Ellie at 7 weeks.
And this is Angus at 7 weeks.
We got some happy news confirmed for us. Both are in their Forever Homes, and have been for some time. Do you want to know the fun part? The shelter they were in had lots and lots of kittens. Meanwhile, there was a sister shelter in South Australia who had interested adopters, but very few kittens. So a plane load of kittens was sent from Townsville to Adelaide to fulfil the demand. Ellie and Angus were on that plane! Unfortunately we weren't able to get photos of them when they were bigger, but it makes us very happy to think of them in good homes. We are also thankful for the lengths the shelter went to in order to give them the best chance of finding those homes.

This video is Ellie and Angus having a snuggle and a feed with their mum and foster brother Calvin Bunny.

This is Ellie and Angus playing with Stella and Calvin, while being watched by Fui and Suey.

We hope you enjoyed the trip down memory lane:)
