Freddieday

Freddie's dad sent us some photos of the lovely lad.His mum and dad love having him as part of their family, and he is settling in very well. He loves playing games with his dad and charging about during the day, and is becoming a real cuddlepuss at night. He looks like he is settling in very well! :)
Thankyou for the pictures, Matt. He is such a handsome boy!:)
Thankyou to our friends for your nice words for mum. She is finally on the mend, and is coughing and spluttering a lot less. This has improved our nap time very much!

Look Who's Getting Big

Sarah, the lovely lady who adopted baby Georgie Weasley, has been kind enough to send us some photos. This is a couple that she sent shortly after Georgie went to her new home. Georgie is now known as Luna by her family. She has a handsome meezer brother named Joker.
She and Joker get along well, and are becoming firm friends. This next pair of photos were sent through a week ago. Georgie-Luna is getting big! And oh so beautiful. Thankyou Sarah for sharing these lovely pictures of your girl:)

Bye bye baby

Handsome Freddie went to his Forever Home today. He happily jumped into the carrier his dad brought, and purred his socks off. He was an absolute delight to have staying in our home, and we love him a bundle. Freddie's departure marks an end to this round of fostering. It was a very experience this time without the 'safety net' of a shelter behind us, and we have the utmost respect for the people who go it alone all the time.
Freddie, we love you, and we wish you all the love in the world.

Looking After Little Freddie

With our time with Freddie winding to a close, I decided it was my mancatly duty to teach him as much as I could.Today, the lesson was keeping a clean machine.I gave him an extra lesson on trying to keep your ears clean so you can avoid your mum coming at you with an ear wipe. After our cleaning time, we settled down for a rest. It's going to be a big week for Freddie Superstar!

Delicious!

Tonight, we are having a celebratory feast!!! Because today is a celebratory day!!! Today, Little Freddie Superstar (as my daddy calls him) secured his Forever Home. He will go to his home next week, when his new family are a bit more settled in their new house and have been able to set their home up for him. He is going to live very close to us, with a mum and a dad. His dad works from home, and wanted a buddy to keep him company during the day. We think Freddie will be great for that role, as he is a real for true buddy cat.
We are very happy for our little friend:)

We also wanted to say thankyou to our friends for your purrs for our mum. She is still a bit uncomfortable, but is feeling much better.

Me and my Freddie

Hi kitties, Today I have been teaching Freddie aboue spit shines and snuggles.
He is a very good student, and rather cute, too. This has been a good day. Tomorrow my mum is going into the hospital to have her four wisdom teeth fixed up. She is having a general anaesthetic, and is a little bit nervous. She should be home with us tomorrow night, but we probably wont be able to visit as much as we'd like this week.

Freddie's Weekend

Hi! It's Freddie Weasley here. I am going to tell you about my weekend. It was FUN! Now that it's just me left from Team Kitten, I am spending most of the day out of the crate. I just go in there for food and overnight. Because I am so well behaved, I am even allowed to run about in the house when my foster mum isn't home! I don't know if you can see behind us in the photo, but there is a fence around the tv. That is because Luna liked getting behind it and pulling the cords out. I don't do that because I am not a tricksy girl. I spent lots of time with my foster brother Fui, learning all about being a big strong mancat.
I discovered a fun toy called a track. I am intrigued by it, and spend lots of time trying to free the ball from the tunnel. So far, it is still trapped. Suey is also being a good teacher, because she is teaching me about boundaries. I am being a good boy and not annoying her too much. She even gives me nose kisses, which my foster mum says she reserves for very special kittens. When I sleep, I purr a lot. It is a very loud, rumbly purr. My foster mum recorded it as her mobile ringtone. Once she can figure out how, she is going to help me post it on the blog so that you can hear what I sound like:)
I hope that you got to have a fun weekend too:)
Love Freddie.

Happy Gotcha Day, Luna

Luna Boo has found her Forever Home. She spent her last morning in her foster home play play playing. First, she played with the track ball. Then she wrassled with the Christmas reindeer (and looked at it dismissively). She had a break for a nom with Suey. And climbed Mount Cat-carrier. Have a happy life, Luna. We love you!

Profiled

Boris and Gracie's comment the other day about using Luna's 'RRRAWR' pictures on her profile got us thinking. On PetRescue.com.au, we could only upload two pictures per kitten. We needed a way around this! So we used Picasa to make a collage, and uploaded two collages each. We made sure there was a big picture in one of the collages to use as their main picture, so it would be easily visible in the thumbnail search results.
We like that it lets us show more sides of the kittens. So far, it seems to be doing it's job. There is a man coming to meet Luna on Friday morning, and it sounds very promising.
Paws crossed someone will come and meet little Freddie soon, too. Yay kittens:)

Monday Maturity

Hi kitties and woofies and everybuddy in the blogosphere. It is Lovely Luna here. I have something to show you. This weekend, I grew into my face! This is a picture of me a week ago. I still look like a baby. This is me this weekend. I look a lot more grown-up, if I do say so myself.I am recovering well after my spay surgery. My wound is a bit bigger that Georgie's was, as I had a different vet, but I am not letting it slow me down. My foster mum keeps seperating me for a rest, as I am so intent on wrasslin' with Freddie and Lishy. It is FUN! I hope you have a fun week!
Love Luna.

A Quiet Day

While Luna and Lishy were away, and Fui was snoozing upstairs,
We hung out.

It was nice.

I'm baaaaa-aaack

I am home safe and sound after my day at the vet, where I had my bits snipped. After the cruel and unusual starvation mum put me and Luna through, I have spent the evening catching up on my nomming. It felt very good to have the feel of food in my belleh again!I've also been having some big cleans to get the smell of the vet off me. Luna was a very good girl at the vet, and had a successful surgery. Freddie also came along today, to get his next vaccination. It was like a swarm of white kitties at the vet today! We went to see Dr. Second-Opinion, who mum really likes.

Here's to a less eventful weekend!:)
