Monday Madness

Have I ever told you about my brother Lishy? He is a weirdo. We currently have a fun collection of boxes to play in.And Lishy is trying to destroy them! He has been ripping the sides off and then runs away with the bits of paper. At this rate, our boxes will have disintegrated soon. This leaves us with one conclusion... Little Brothers are crazy!

Fun on Friday

Do you ever feel like there is something there? Like you're being watched?
No, me neither. Have a great weekend, everybuddy! :)
Love Fuifui.

Fun on Friday

Our friend and her mum are making a concerted effort every day this week to do something fun. Now, we love fun, so this is an idea that appealed to us greatly.

Today we went out in to our garden and had a play. I love to be able to nestle in amongst the foliage out there! Fui is a pavers mancat. I think he likes the cool feel of it on his belly furs.
While I was out there, I had fun stalking my mum through the grasses. I think I look a bit like a huntress, don't you?
Even when we were outside, Fui made sure to have regular sniffs of the air just incase our dinner had been served. He is a cat who hates to be late for his supper! Last night, I also had a play with my mum while I was sitting on the cat tree. This is a short video, to show you some of the fun we were having.
We hope you have a fun weekend!:)

My Hideaway

Hello everybuddy:)

I have a new hideaway spot. It is the little cubby on the cat tree that Fui and Suey can't fit into. All three of us are sitting on the tree together now, me in my cubby, Fui above me on the next level and Suey up on the top level. We also had our first big play session today. The three of us were running and jumping and playing and chasing! It was so much fun!

I had a visit with my vet today, and she thinks I am looking stronger. That is news I like to hear!

Suey Sunshine's Halfway House

So, you already know about these little goofballs. They should start going to their Forever Homes this time next week!Today, mum brought something way more interesting for me to look at home from work. This guy!
He is a juvenile rainbow lorikeet. He is staying with us for the weekend. And doesn't he just look scrumptious.

Saturday

Do you know why we are looking so smug? Mum was going to dress us up for Halloween. Unfortunately (MOL!) she was unable to finish our costumes in time. Instead, we are wearing the traditional Australian Halloween garb.
We're costumeless!!
This is a fun video and some photos of Harry discovering the joy of little mousie toys (plus attention seeking spots from Ron and Hermione). The boy is getting good at his bunnykickin'!

Happy Halloween, everybuddy:)

Revealed!

These birds are what we were looking at. They were on the roof next door.
They looked so delicious.
Lip smackingly good!
Fui and I had a discussion to see how we could catch them, but we were foiled by our harnesses.
But a kitty can dream! I bet they would have tasted very yummy.

Thankyou for all the purrs for the little Hogwarts kittens. They are doing better today.
They are less sneezey and snuffley, and a lot less goobery. We are still worried about Ron. He is still quite withdrawn. The babies are back in the small crate, as it is easier to keep them warm in there. It was a bit premature to put them in the big crate. We are concentrating on making sure they continue to eat well, stay warm and dry, and change their bedding and disinfect the crate twice a day.
Harry and Hermione have big appetites, and demand their dinners 20 minutes before they are due.
That's what we like to see!:)

What Am I Looking At?

Can you guess?
I'm very very interested in it.
My mouth is watering and I'm chit-chattering!
Fui is mildly interested.
All will be revealed tomorrow!

P.S. It's not Harry.
It's not Ron.
And it's not Hermione.

Suey's Stress Less While You Nom Test!

Hi kitties!
Today I am testing out another food toy- the Triangle. This was described in one of Vicky Halls' books.
It is made out of the inner tubes of paper towel rolls, stuck together.
For this test, I got my assistant Fattyfatty Moimoi to help me (partly because my other assistant took the photos of me while the camera was on the wrong setting, and the pictures were all blurry). To set up this toy, bits of kibble are placed along the tubes.
To get the kibble out, we have to reach in and try to flick the kibble out. We have also discovered that if we hit it hard enough, when sliding along the floor kibble usually falls out. Fui gets a bit annoyed at this toy, but I like it. He is not as patient as I am. I also have thinner paws.
Here is a video of the Hogwarts kittens from last night. They are real proper little toddlers now! We would really appreciate some purrs for the little ones. They have developed little colds. They are still very fragile, and after Stella's babies, we are all too aware that we could still lose them.

That is all from Suey Sunshine's research lab for today:)

Snuggling on Sunday

Each Sunday, we like to visit our friends Tommy, Tama-Chan and Sei-Chan at , to see their Snuggles on Sunday. They truly are the masters. Today, we thought we would have a try!:)

The snuggles started early, with Ron, Harry and Hermione making a cuddle pile on their heating pad against their triceratops. Yes, that ball of white fluff is two kittens- Ron on the left, and Harry in the middle with his head up by Hermione.
Suey and I felt rather inspired, and thought we would have a go at snuggling.
We had our cuddle session on the end of the bed.
Mum and Ron had a cuddle session after lunch. This is little Ron in mum's lap, while they were lying on the couch together.
We hope you got to have some nice snuggles today, too:)

The Outside!

There now exists a plan for enclosing our back courtyard. Mum's been a bit too busy to actually go to Bunnings and get the supplies required, though.
So I have been going on excursions in my harness. I'm really getting used to it now, and don't do the "my harness is so heavy I have to drag my belly along the floor" walk when I'm outside.
It's nice to be out there chomping on the plants and rolling in the dirt again. One of my favourite ever things to do is to writhe on the concrete, and I have some good concrete blocks to roll around on.
The vet cat, Kitten, has been in our courtyard a few times, so I've been having a good sniff of the areas he has been in.
I blow raspberries at the idea of Kitten in my garden!
At the moment, my courtyard is full of dust. It is red dust from the dust storm yesterday! Mum and dad sleep with a window open, so their bedroom is full of red dust too. This is what the sky looked like when we were having breakfast yesterday.
It was like looking through a piece of orange cellophane, and a little bit spooky.
Here are the requisite kitten photos for the day.
I must admit, they are growing me. I like to sit on top of my cat tree and watch them wriggle around and eat their dinner.
They still aren't as cute as me though:)
