Oh my cat! I am a finalist in the 3rd Annual Cat Blogosphere Halloween Costoom Contest!!

It is a great moment for mancats everywhere when a mancat dressed as a fairy can stand up and be proud!

We urge everycat and dog to go and have a look at the entries. We like Minchie as the Donald, and Pixie is a beautiful witch, and Mr. Hendrix is totally rocking it and Daisy is very cute. It is fun:) And vote for your favourite kitty, too!:)

I reckon I'll get some fishies out of this. Yummo!

For sale: One mother who was supposed to love me enough to make me a tough strong mancat costume but made a flower fairy skirt and wings instead!



Does this look like the face of a happy cat, woman?
And my dad? I could only look to him for help as he colluded with the woman. He even had an official title. Wing wrangler. Seriously?!?!

And then they expect me to put my handsome face on for them. Fat chance! I was named after a tough Tongan rugby league star! He doesn't take a backwards step, and neither do I. So I'll look back wards instead!
Although this sunspot is nice. I look a little radioactive. That's kind of cool and superhero like.But they even tried to take that away from me! And moved me like I was a sack of sand!
That was it, I had to make my escape. If only I could work the door handle. Curse my lack of opposable thumbs! Ridiculous!
I came up with a new tactic, squiggling and jiggling and moving quick!
In between that, and sulking, I finally made my point. No more of this crazyness. It's time for me to make my move.

So I took my leave of this madness.

When mum said 'Halloween costume', I was very reluctant. But I thought, you know what, I might as well give it a go. And besides, I was trapped in the room, so it's not like I had much of a choice.

Oh mum. Why do you do this to me?
There, now that she has her picture, it's time for me to make my exit.

Finally! I hope noone else is being forces into this feline humiliation that is cats in costumes. Although, it was very funny to see my brother dressed like a GIRL! Halloween- the Evie Outtakes!

We have been very excited about The 3rd Annual Cat Blogosphere Halloween Costoom Contest. The entries from the last two have been fantastic, and we decided to have a go this year. It was a lot of fun for our mum, and I tolerated it pretty well!

My entry is up now, and these are some out takes from my beachside photoshoot! I was very good for my Halloween pictures. Certainly better than FlowerFairy Moimoi, who was caught repeatedly wrestling the backdrop (ie. paper stuck on a sheet).

I was pretty non-plussed to start. Luckily for foster mum, foster dad was there on hat duty. Otherwise, it would have been a lost cause!

Foster mum had promised me some Cravers if I was good, and I do love my Cravers!

The hat was pretty tricky. Sometimes it was too far back.

Other times, it was too far forward.

It all got pretty tiring for me, having to direct the humans in hat placement.

It would sometimes fall off on one side.

So foster dad would put it back on for me.
Then it would fall off on the other side!

I caught sight of myself in the mirror, and thought I looked rather pretty all dressed up.


Now, it's time for some CRAVERS!!! I hope lots of people will join in on the fun, and visit the competition:)
