Do you know who's fault it was that I got clipped?
SUEY'S!!!!! She likes to knead in the lap of the woman formerly known as my mum, and her claws were starting to pinch. And somehow I got roped in, too!!! I will not take this lying down. I am already preparing my defence for the next time she brings those clippers out.

Fui, I got my claws cut too!!! Mom tricked me and took me outside and I thought I was gonna get to eat grass and stuff, but no...she held me and CUT MY NAILS! Oh the horror! I feel for you!

Oh noes!! Luckily, I am allowed to tap dance all day over concrete, so mum never has to give me a manicure.
Watch those toesies Fui! The same injustice happens to us here. We have not yet figured a way out of it, but we are working on a plot...there are 8 of us and only 2them.

Just think of it as a spa treatment. Your mum isn't torturing you, she's pampering you.

At least your mom does the horrible stuff in plain sight. Mother must do something while I sleep, because a lot of times I wake up with trimmed nails, and I don't remember anyone doing it.
For a long time I thought they just did that by themselves, but now I'm onto her, so I sleep with an eye open at all times. Except sometimes when I get pretty tired from doing that. But I reserve those full snoozes for when mother is not home.
There's a bonus to that too: when she comes home, I'm all rested up and ready to demand all the attention I can get. :D

P.S. - Gracie lets mom trim her nails without putting up a fight. She gets treats for it. Showoff!
Ahem.... we get our nails done (it's called a nailicure...) on a regular basis, and it's really no big deal, especially that #1 showers us with cuddles as she is doing the job.
