Milestones

Generally, we have the fosters until they are over a kilo, which is the weight at which the shelter will desex them. Sometimes the ones who need a bit more socialising will stay a bit longer.

This last weekend, Jimmy Blossom reached a kilo. The girls weighed in at 900grams. We wait until the lightest of the litter is over a kilo, then send the litter back together. At the rate they are gaining weight, we think they'll be ready next week.

Baby Seamus reached 500grams! His cold is clearing up. He is still a bit sneezy, but his eyes are looking really good now. He is such a brave little boy, and is getting along really well with Jimmy. When they were crated on Sunday while their room was cleaned, the two boys spent the whole time cuddling. It was very sweet.

Our wonderful friends at were kind enough to give us this lovely award.

Thank you so much for this wonderful award! We are very honored! We will be sad to see the Blossoms go, but we're also very excited that they will be on their way to getting their own forever homes. Those are adorable pictures of Seamus, Poppy, and Jimmy.
