Blast From the Past.

Do you remember these two? Baby Ellie and Baby Angus? We can't tell which is which in the baby photo. They were very similar when they were older. When they were still little tiny babies, they were identical!!!
Here they are with their mum Stella when they were 4 weeks old. She was a very very good mum.
This is Ellie at 7 weeks.
And this is Angus at 7 weeks.
We got some happy news confirmed for us. Both are in their Forever Homes, and have been for some time. Do you want to know the fun part? The shelter they were in had lots and lots of kittens. Meanwhile, there was a sister shelter in South Australia who had interested adopters, but very few kittens. So a plane load of kittens was sent from Townsville to Adelaide to fulfil the demand. Ellie and Angus were on that plane! Unfortunately we weren't able to get photos of them when they were bigger, but it makes us very happy to think of them in good homes. We are also thankful for the lengths the shelter went to in order to give them the best chance of finding those homes.

This video is Ellie and Angus having a snuggle and a feed with their mum and foster brother Calvin Bunny.

This is Ellie and Angus playing with Stella and Calvin, while being watched by Fui and Suey.

We hope you enjoyed the trip down memory lane:)

How gorgeous and what a lovely mommy cat. Where is mommy cat now? I remember my first foster feline family was a mommy and 4 kittens. One of the kittens went to a home through the local vet, another went to friends of ours and my mom took the mommy cat and tow kittens. Such a happy ending. Then I got the two white kittens at 3 weeks old through the shelter and my heart melted. Their forever home turned out to be our home and I'm so glad I kept them as they bring such joy and I love them so much.
So nice to "meet" fellow cat lovers doing such good.

That's great news that they found homes! We've never been on a plane ride, so we're in awe of them! I bet both Ellie and Angus were very brave!

A plane load of kittens is a lot of kittens. We're so glad the shelters had the funds to transfer them to another shelter and waiting Forever Homes!

Oh what cuties they were - I am sure they are beautiful now. I love the trips down memory lane - even though we haven't been here for most of them it is fun to see the little guys!

Mum remmebers seeing the news item about the kittens being flown from Queensland to Adelaide. It's pretty exciting to know that Ellie and Angus were a part of that, and that they now have forever homes.
