Daisy

The decision was made this morning to euthanise Daisy. She was beginning to deteriorate, and the vet didn't feel there was much we could do. I didn't want her to wind up in the same situation as Pablo, and chose to end her suffering.
Ellie and Angus both passed their exams, and the vet doesn't believe they should have any problems. Stella also passed her health check, and tested negative to the things they can test for. Have fun at the Bridge, Daisy darling. You and your brother are loved, and will be for the rest of time.
Thankyou for your kind words about little Pablo, and your purrs for Daisy.
Daisy the Curly Cat and Pablo from Tasmania, I'm really sorry it ended up like this.

We were purring for a better outcome. Sweet Daisy, now you are at the Bridge with your brother. We will miss you. You were very much loved by us all.

Ellie and Angus, you are very special to us...my momma Ellie is headbutting and cruising the computer screen sending you love. Stella, losing your babies has to be so hard. They were lucky to have such a good momma.

Again we are saddened by the news that Daisy had to join her two brothers at the bridge. You made the only decision that you could.. If they were suffering, you gave them peace! We will purr very hard for the other two and you!

Oh sweet Daisy! We so loved the photo of you sleeping with your head on your paws! Life can come with such hard decisions sometimes, but she will grow strong at the Bridge and we know there will be so many welcoming paws for her there. Both she and Pablo made a place in all our hearts during their short stay in this world.

Ellie and Angus, you grow strong and boisterous!

We're so sorry that little Daisy couldn't stay, and ran off to the bridge with her brothers Elijah and Pablo. Mumbean Lissa, please accepts our purrs and kitty headbutts for making such a tough decision to help little Daisy, especially just after you lost Pablo. We're also sending our purrs to kitty Mum Stella and little ones Ellie and Angus, as well as to the rest of the 'Forever Foster' crew,

We are so sorry to hear sweet, tiny Daisy had to be helped to the bridge. We are crying with you. Yesterday Mom also learned that one of the ferals where she works had to be helped to the bridge, and it made her cry all the more to know that she was the only one crying for him.

We are so sorry. It was the best decision you could have possibly made.
We are very happy that Stella has been tested with such a good outcome. THIS at least is fantastic news. She can concentrate on her two babies now. These must be such hard days for you. We are purring and purring for everyone to regain strength and confidence. Siena & Chilli

Oh we are so sorry to hear about little Pablo and Daisy. We are sure you are very sad right now, but you give them love, care and warmth and that is so very special. I hope you will take comfort in that.

Dear little Pablo and little Daisy, you enjoy all that warm grass over the Bridge and chase some of those butterflies for me too.

We are so sad to hear that. We'd been hoping our purrs would have helped... But ... maybe they were needed at the bridge, to be its newest and smallest angels. I know it's hard not to feel like you should have done more, but you did plenty. Daisy and Pablo knew the love of living in a good home rather than out in the streets, and you gave them that.

Such sad news this morning. We are certain your heart is aching, but may it comfort you to know that your tender care and love made their time with you filled with love, and that is something they would not have had if not for you.

Last year, I lost Kiki single kitten at 18 days of age to pneumonia and it was the first loss I had experienced really since Mike died and I was devastated. We fought for 3 days to save him with all my vets could do, and we couldn't.

I had an autopsy performed, in case his death was caused by something contagious like FIP or Rhino, but it showed that he had inhaled milk, possibly after becoming so full of milk being a single kitten and having no competition, that he vomited and then inhaled.

That comforted me a little, as I knew then that it wasn't something I did wrong, like letting him get chilled, or knowing it wasn't something contagious let me not worry about that too.

We have our paws crossed that Ellie and Angus will thrive and grow up to be very special kittens under your care.

Oh no! I'm so sorry that you had another baby go to the bridge. I loved the picture of Daisy with her head on her paw! Cherish the photos and the memories. I'm sure Daisy and Pablo would thank you for giving them a loving home during their short life.

Oh, poor baby Daisy too! It must be so so hard to foster little kitties. You just don't know if they're gonna make it or not. But even though little Daisy and little Pablo only lived for a tiny bit of time, they have something in common with grown-up Daisy and grown-up Pablo: they have been VERY well loved. Thanks so much for giving them that love, and the best possible start in life.
