My foster mum got me something new today. She remembered Suey's platypus, which was a present for her when she had her operation, and how she loves to snuggle with it. So today, she came home with a pink bone for me. It is really a dog toy, but it was the best she could find. And I loved it!
I rubbed it and I marked it and I chewed it and I cuddled right into it! And boy did I purrrrrrrrrr. I was so happy, I decided to go into my cage and have a snack. By the way, did you know I have FOUR bowls in my cage, 2 for food and two for water? I used to have none! I also have my litter box in there. Can you see where I shred the paper around it? I only just started doing that a week ago, and I won't tell my foster mum why!
And then with a full belly and a happy heart, I cuddled up in my box with my new bone, and went to sleep. Happy days:)

It seems funny how cats and dogs will often take to a particular toy or object while ignoring others. Our local PetSmart will accept unused or gently used toys (properly cleaned and disinfected of course) from customers and use them in the cages for the adoption pets. It's a great way to recyle those toys that one's pet just seems to ignore.
What a nice pink pillow you have!
That is good for sleeping with.

That newspaper shredding may be from scratching (covering) outside the box. I do that all the time.

That's a very cool toy, indeed!
Evie, we are so glad you finally got one you love! If Moms would just bring us to the store to pick out our own toys, none of us cats would have these problems.
We sure is glad yoo live so far from us. Da mom wants to pick yoo up and take yoo home Miss Mystery Kitty!
You lucky kitty!!! I don't care for toys much, not even when I was younger. Why so many bowls in your cage?
Momo, I have two bowls for water because I like to put things in it-especially litter! I have a third bowl for dry food, and a fourth bowl when my wet food is put out:)
