Basil, Manuel and Archie were three kittens with Tonkinese and Abyssinian parentage. They were older than the kittens we had fostered previously, and had boundless energy! Archie was creamy, and had more of a Tonkinese look to him, while Basil and Manuel looked like traditional Abyssinian kitties, and were indistinguishable from each other. They were also a lot wilder than Archie.
Their arrival coincided with my parents visiting us, so the three boys went and stayed with K for a few days. They had a great time there, and were showered with affection. They also became great friends with K's Maltese cross, Regi. They even tried to suckle off him! It was incredibly kind of K to take them in, and get them out of the cage at the shelter.
The three boys terrorised Fui. He didn't know what had hit him when they were tearing around, behaving like little nuts. They never seemed to tire, and were on the go constantly. They were also terribly clever, terribly being the key word! They liked to run wild, and avoid all supervision! They were also very claw-happy, and loved to leave their marks on anyone and everyone, defying any attempt to teach them otherwise.
Archie was adopted the day after he went into the cages, Basil was 2 days later, and Manuel was a week later.
