My mum and dad even call me the Butterfly Hunter (although I can never actually catch the pretty little things). This is a better picture of the print, without mum's reflection (hopeless assistant).Harry, Ron and Hermione are continuing to fight on. Harry and Hermione are going from strength to strength. Harry is our biggest eater, with his last two feeds being 8.5 mL. Both are suckling off the syringes. Hermione's biggest feed so far is 7mL.
Ron is causing us a bit of worry. He is smaller than his siblings, and hates the process of feeding. We have to fight to get every mL into him. His biggest feed has been 4mL, although about a mL of that was worn down the sides of his mouth and neck. He screams through every feed, so we are worried about aspiration. However, he does have a lot of fight in him, which is good. With every hour that passes, his chances of making it through grow. The wound on his leg is looking good and starting to heal. Hopefully, we can keep any infection away.
Mum is a bit of a zombie at the moment, but she says it is the best kind of tiredness. Every bit of broken sleep means that the babies are pulling through, and if that's what it takes to see the tiny beings grow and thrive, it is a very small price.
