Finally Home

Hey everybuddy! I'm back home in my own bed after a very annoying 24 hours. When I went in for my check up the v-e-t was a bit concerned that my symptoms are still ongoing, and decided it would be best to do an endoscopy (a camera that goes in my mouth and down into my tummy). I even had to stay overnight!!!

I pretended to put my paws up and surrender to their demands...but when they weren't looking, I was blowing lots of raspberries. This tabby has cheek, everybuddy! During my endoscopy they found inflammation in the area of my stomach just before it joins the small intestine and in the initial parts of my small intestine. There were also red pinpoint lesions that they think are small areas of haemmorage. The v-e-t-s were able to take several biopsies. We will have the histopathology by early next week. I had a vitamin B injection and have medicine that will stop any further ulceration in my tummy and help it heal.Since being home I've been giving out eleventy billion smooches to anyone looking even a little bit smoochable. I'm happy to be home. Suey did well at her chiropractic appointment this afternoon, which she went to for some preventative care. There was one very funny development though. Lishy is in hysterics over it, and begged me to let him tell you, so make sure you come back tomorrow! :)

Oh Fui, you are such a brave Mancat to go through so much without complaint. I think it is very cute how your belly has spots on the skin that matches the spots on your furs!

Ps: I cannot wait to hear the funny story!
