We are having a mama and her babies come to stay with us. They arrived at the shelter yesterday, so the cattery manager wanted to keep her there for a couple of days in order to check that she would be a good mama and look after the babies. If we'd moved her again and got her worked up again so soon there was a risk that she would reject them. Apparently the babies are little freshies, so they really need their mama at the moment. When we last spoke to the people at the shelter, the five babies were going strong!This will be the first time we've had a mama since the beautiful Stella was with us, and the first time Daddy has been home when we've had a mama, so it's all very exciting! :)

Ellie is doing a happy dance! She can't have anymore babies of her own, so this is just going to be a joy for her to see! It's been 4 years since she nursed me and she still misses it.
You know we just loved Stella and still think of her and purr that she is having a happy life. We also purr for baby kit Ellie, that she is now a beautiful happy ladycat.

Yoo is one of only a few dat caught on dat the kitteh gettin scritches wasn't Molly. Dat is stray kitteh Mooch, the mom brought her up the other day from the basement to socialize her more.
