The Rubbles

We have a great update on the Rubble boys. They are both doing really well. They have developed a quick bond, and spend a lot of time cuddling. Dino watches Barney play with toys and has started to mimic his actions. Barney is already more confident being handled. Both boys had difficulties eating, with Barney having required force feedings at the shelter and Dino only eating small amounts. They seem to be taking confidence from each other, and are now eating good meals!Twenty days after he was found, Dino is finally starting to really relax and is emerging out of his 'survival' mode. He is a lot brighter and more interested in his surroundings.Doesn't Barney have great markings? He reminds us of our former fosters Bobby Dazzler and Brad Oscar. We hope you have a fabulous weekend, friends :)

Yay!

We think Dino was feeling traumatized and lonely from having been separated from his siblings, and having Barney around gave him some heart (they look like they could be from the same litter, you know).

Actually, when we first saw pictures of Barney the other day, we thought we were looking at a miniature Fuei! MOL.

Hurrah! The boys look so sweet cuddled up together.

Perhaps they are social eaters and just needed a little company.

Barney has gorgeous markings that wasn't obvious from the photo from the last post.

We're so happy those little cuties were lucky enough to be rescued and get to live with you for a while. They have both been through a lot, and it is wonderful they now have a safe home filled with love where they can get ready for their forever homes. They are such cuties!

I love Barney's fabulous classic tabby markings! I think it is the rarest of tabby patterns.
