This is Bertie. Isn't he cute!
He came into the vet clinic mum works in last week. Some doggies sniffed him out in a golf course car park, and their dad was able to catch him and bring him in. Unfortunately, they haven't been able to find his original owners. It is sad because from his behaviour, he seems to be a bunny who has known a lot of affection and love in the past. He is very calm, and has a sweet temperament.
Mum's friend and colleague Greta will be fostering Bertie while they try and find him a new Forever home through his PetRescue listing
here. He is going to know a lot of loving and affection while he is there, let us tell you! It will give him a good chance to fatten up, too, as he is a bit on the skinny side.
We wish we could meet him. He probably smells really interesting!

Hello sweet Bertie! He looks so nice :D
He looks lovely! I hope he finds a nice home.
We imagine that Bertie must be really, really soft to the touch! we hope he will find a great forever home very soon!
Bertie is very cute. If he is thin he may have been lost for some time ~ in which case his owners may have given up looking for him, thinking they wouldn't find him. We hope every effort is made to trace his owners 'cos they must be missing him lots.
Good luck Bertie.
Bertie looks cute. SS was going to adopt a bunny some years ago but her landlord (in Canberra) wouldn't allow it.
I had a chat with the garden fairies. They are considering giving your place a look over ;)
Bertie is very lucky to have such nice people looking out for him. We hope he finds a wonderful forever home.
It sounds like he might have escaped. So glad the woofie story didn't end different! Good luck to Bertie!
Bertie looks like a real good bunny!
Awww...sweet little Bertie! I hope he finds somewhere nice to live. Good luck Bertie!
Bertie is adorable! We hope he finds a forever home soon.
Lucky Bertie! I'm so glad you let the nice man pick you up so you can find a forever home.
We have a real problem with mean people dumping unwanted house bunnies in the woods near here (about 2 blocks away)... I get very upset about that. By the time they work their way down to my house through the easement (usually in the company of wild bunnies) they are very afraid. And rightly so, there are lots of foxes around here, too.
Bertie is so cute! We have our paws crossed that he finds a new forever home real soon! :)
We love fuzzy bunnies and Bertie looks adorable, a very sweet face!...We're so glad he was rescued and will be able to find a loving home!...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Look at his velvety nose! Nose taps to Bertie. Did you know that there is a Rex rabbit? They used to have wavy furs just like us but breeders decided they wanted more velvet furs so they bred the ones with no waves and so now they are really velveteen rabbits!
I'm sure he'd be great company. We actually saw pix of a rescue bunny playing with her best friend the ragdoll cat earlier today!
Purrs,

Oh Bertie is a cutie - it looks like he is a tuxie bunny! It is sad that he was out there alone - we hope he just escaped and wasn't dumped because that would just be terrible! It sounds like he is going to have a very good time waiting for a new forever home!! We hope he finds one soon!
