Mailcall!

We were very lucky to win a prize in a contest that the beautiful ran. Mum was able to pick it up from the post office yesterday.

It was toys from the shop! They smelled a-maze-ing! Suey immediately pounced on the little yellow bean. I was also very interested.
She didn't appreciate my interest though and quickly smacked me upside the head.
When the fish came out of the box, Suey didn't even wait for it to come out of the wrapper before she wanted to play with it. She tried to rip the package herself!
When I tried to have a sniff, I had to quickly get in a defensive position when Suey launched an attack! When I reached for the cute fatbird, the positions were reversed! Suey wanted to have a look, and I bopped her on the nose!
The fatberd is such a perfect shape for bunnykickin'. I had so much fun!
The toys are wonderful.
Thankyou very much, Grrreta!!!:) We are already having lots and lots of fun with these great toys:)

I also wanted to put in a note about Miss Stella Bella. She is an amazing young ladycat. For those who are new to our blog, we fostered Stella and her 5 babies from the babies birth day. Two of her babies survived to be adopted. We also had some other kittens while fostering Stella. One of them, Calvin, was failing to thrive. We had three kittens from Calvin's litter, and another foster mum had two. The other foster mum had Calvin's twin, and he was also failing to thrive. Calvin's twin ended up passing away. In a last ditch effort, mum put Calvin in with Stella. She immediately started caring from him, and he became a whole new kitten. She allowed him to feed from her, and he started growing quickly. As he got stronger, he started playing and having fun with Angus and Ellie. Calvin went on to find a wonderful family. Mum credit's Stella with saving his life.

Mum desperately wanted to add her to our family. However, with our dad's job we will be moving every couple of years. We had Stella when we were preparing to move to Sydney, and mum was surprised at just how hard it was to find a home with two cats. She thought three would be asking for trouble. Stella did have an initial hick up when she was desexed. She pulled her stitches out. Mum had wanted to bring her home to recover, but it wasn't allowed. She spent about a week healing, and was then adopted a week or so after that. The family who has her now is very lucky indeed.

We love you Stella!!

What a great bunch of toys, and you are lucky that the customs beagle let you keep them.

We are glad to hear that Miss Stella has a new furrever home, we wonder if her parents know they have a celebrity in their midst.

Smooches my wee Aussie friends.

Concats on winning those fun toys! Looks like you had a lot of fun opening your mail. Thanks for the update on Stella - we're glad that she found a wonderful forever home. It's tough finding rental places that will accept pets in metropolitan areas, which is one of the reasons we're very happy to stay here at our place.

Oh my goodness, we love those jelly bean toys.
And Stella is very pretty and I am so glad she has a good home. We are a family of 20 or so rescued cats. Our staff can't seem to find homes for them but then she is very fussy.

Seeing Stella brings tears to our eyes...we loved her so very much and you know if we were close by and not on the other side of the world, we would have wanted to adopt her too...although as mom says..."there's no room at the inn". I'm so glad she found a wonderful home. We will never forget her.

Aren't those toys wonderful? We got a box too and mom says since we loved them so much we can order more for the holidays!

What a wonderful post! Congrats on the toys!

As for Stella, we were all enchanted by her, but we would like to say that we think the kittens made it thanks to her AND the best foster mum ever!

Stella sounds like a wonderful kitty! She is like a kitty version of you - helping out kittens in need!

And seriously aren't the Casbah Kitten toys just so awesome - the jellybeans are the favorite in our house with everyone - until they disapear under the couch of course.
