This little lady was new to the Society. Boy did she have a voice on her! The term tortitude may well have been coined with her in mind.
This little calico was a bit more reserved. She is fond of her box, and seemed to enjoy sitting back and watching the world go by.
This is Julius. He came to the Society as a stray. He was very cool, calm and collected.
This is Oscar. His old people were moving and couldn't take him with them. He was a very lively young mancat who seemed to enjoy having people around. He also had the most wonderful tabby coat on his back! He and Julius, along with a third kitty Poncho, are best buddies.
This is Tinkerbell. She is a deaf kitty. She has amazing big yellow eyes, which reminded us of Poppy Q's. She liked little scritches behind her ears.
This is Peasuke. He came to the Society because he just couldn't cope with being an indoor only kitty, and developed a problem using the litter tray. He hasn't had a problem since being at the Society, however. He wasn't supposed to be out of his cage while mum was there, but was let out accidentally. When he realised he was being tracked down, he raced across the room and made a magnificent leap up onto the dividing wall! It was really quite impressive. This kitty was very active. He spent quite a bit of time peering out the window, having a good look at the cars going by.

Oh, your mum *was* there! I hope she enjoyed the talk as much as I did. The kitties there are so adorable, I find it hard to believe that three kitties have been there for over a year now! I wish I could take them home with me, but my landlord would certainly not be happy.
Did you know that I came from the Cat Protection Society in Melbourne? I was there for three months before mum and dad found me and I adopted them.

Did you get any good tips? Feel free to share. A friend of mine is concidering catnapping the cat belonging to her in-laws as they intend to have it pts (and they were told if they tried to find it a new home they would not tell then when they made a vet's appointment so they couldn't come with when he was pts). It's a proper outdoor mouse-catcher and she's afraid that he won't like it much. (We all agreed it's better to try than not, though).

PS: Very cute cats! Hope they get great homes.
What cute kitties, we want to take them all home. Our heart aches for them, not having lots of people love.
I am glad I get to be an inside outside cat, but I hoped you learned some tips that will help Fui and Suey.
I hope that you learned a lot and I hope that all of those beautiful kitties find their forever homes!
What sweethearts. We hope you share some of the tips you learned. I like being an indoor only kitty, but I'm sure Jonesie would freak out if she couldn't get to her garden.
We will purr for all of those wonderful cats to find their forever homes very soon.
We sincerely hope these lovely babies have forever home soon!
We hope these wonderful kitties your Mom met will get furever homes soon.
They are all lovely, Oscar's markings do look very neat. Sure hope your Mum's speech convinced some humans to adopt some kitties.
They are all so sweet and precious. I wish they could live with me!
Those are some very wonderful kitties! I am sending my best purrs for them to find Forever homes soon.
Whitey is purring for them to find their Forever Homes very soon.
It iz not easy getting use to being Inside all the time, for me, Gandalf or Grayson, but it iz much safer... and the foods and scritches are real good, too!
Beautiful kittycats! We enjoyed reading about them.
We hope they find forever homes really soon.
