Psssstt

It's me, Suey. I'm hiding. Hiding from my mum! She has the flu, and she is no fun when she is sick. I think I might stay here for the duration.

P.S. Mum and Dad have been looking for a new home in Sydney. One of the estate agents suggested getting rid of one or both of us, to make it easier to find a place! The amount of steam that came out of mum's ears nearly melted the phone!

Oh dear! That would be alfuls! My mom says that when she has to move from here... that she will buy an RV and live in it so we can all be together! I hope all goes well!

That is so horrible to even suggest.. I do not know whether it helped or not but mmma got a pet reference from our previous home.
Momma says that even some homes that specify no pets will take into consideration if you have a glowing pet reference..
I just think some owners are scared-ed of what some negligent pet owners are like .. hehe my momma said that she had the two babies (us) and that we were cleaner than real human babies which is true..
I hope that your momma feels better! :))

Hehehehe, we had to giggle at your mom's steaming melting the phone. What a cheeky proposal, those people don't know what they're talking about! How could you ever give away a loved one?
Suey, we hope your mom gets better real fast and you can come out of hiding again. We want to admire your silkyness!

How could the estate agent suggest such a thing?! We're appalled!

Hope your mum gets better soon, and that you won't have to hide anymore.

We would suggest sending an international blogosphere SWAT team to deal with that estate agent...

We hope your mum is better soon. Flu is horrible so please take good care of her instead of hiding!

Obviously that real estate agent has no idea how important kitties are. He probably hasn't got a pet. I hope your mum hit him with her handbag.

I agree with Parker. That real estate agent would be our ex-real estate agent so fast her head would spin. It kind of makes my mom sad though that some people can think that way...she says that's why our family is so big because people believe that stuff and move on without their family members.

Hope mom feels better soon!

Our mom and dad will be in your parents' shoes soon. We're moving into temp housing first, and asking a real estate agent to show us around right after. Mom will never, ever consider getting rid of either one of us.

As for getting pet references that is a good idea.
Alas, one of us did destroy the carpet inside the closet. It was an accident, and mommy's fault: she forgot to check to make sure Gracie was out of the walk in closet before closing the door and going out for groceries!

Gracie spent two hours in there, and was really really scared no one would open the door again, so she tried to claw her way out of it! She was young and inexperienced, she'd never do that now.

We suspect that the landlord won't be pleased about it, but she'll be ok once mom tells them they can take whatever they want out of the deposit (and the carpeting was pretty old when we moved in... so they might just let it go...).

That is so sad that your real estate agent doesn't realize that you kitties are part of the family! It should be discrimination! It's not your fault you have four legs, a tail and fur....I do think furbabies are cleaner than human babies and quieter too. Hopefully, your mom and dad (glad he's home!) can find the purrfect home for you all. I certainly hope the fostering can continue. I love reading about all of you. Hope mom is feeling better!
