I Knead You!

Haha the title makes me MOL. I am a kneader. Always have been, and I think I always will be. I especially love to knead on blankets.

I tell you this by way of introducing something that makes mum smile a lot. Fui is not a kneader. Never had been, except for one occasion when he tried it for 2 seconds about a year ago. Mum thought he never would be. That was, until last week. During wake up cuddles with mum, he kneaded on two seperate mornings! Mum thought it was very cute, because he is so big and goofy.
My eye is looking a lot better. My third eyelid is still pretty bloodshot and around my eye is a tiny bit swollen, but it is improving. In four days, my eye will no longer be target practice for mum's goop shooting skills. That is a day I'm looking forward to a lot!
Tomorrow is a day Meryl has been looking forward to. This morning, she weighed in at 1.1kg, and that means whippity snip time is upon her. This photo is of Meryl on the day she first came home, with her brother Brad.
This is her now, looking strong and beautiful. The hair is growing back on her bald spot, too! We think Meryl will do a good job of finding her Forever Home. Last night, my old foster mum Kate came over, and Meryl spent the whole time making big 'I Love You!!!!!' googlie eyes at her.
Have a happy weekend, friends:)

Tama-Chan is a champion kneader, but only with Tom!!!

You were the first to comment on our blog yesterday and so, in the spirit of "Pawing Forward" our good fortune in getting those wonderful gifts, we would like to send you a little something from here. Could you please therefore send us your snail mail details to tom at ikkyu dot biz? And also let us know if we should refrain from including any edible treats as we know there are strict laws about such things in Australia.

Meryl is so sweet, I hope she finds somebuddy to love her lots.

I am not one for making biscuits either, I don't knead although I used to when I was a baby on my mums woollie scarfs.

Good news all in all - that's the way we like it! Suey, keep getting better please! Chilli wants to let you know she's a big time kneader too. With claws!
Siena's record on the collars is one found out of two lost ones so far, but she's almost a year only...

Good luck to you Meryl! I am sure you will find the perfect home for you! Angel is a kneader and Kirby is only a blanket kneader!

I love to knead - especially on Momma and Daddy. They think it's cute but re-direct me into kneading the air (I have sharp claws).

Glad to hear that your eye is getting better and I'm thinking good thoughts for Meryl to find her loving forever home.

Thank you so much for the nice birthday wishes! I had a good meal, treats, nice presents and snuggles, so it was a very good day!

What a pretty girl, Meryl is! I'm sure that there's someone out there waiting to take her home.

Glad to hear that your eye is doing better, too.

I wanted to say thank you for the very nice birthday wishes! I had a wonderful day with a long nap, a special meal, lots of treats, new pink toys just for me and snuggles with Momma and Daddy. Your nice wishes helped make the day even more special!

I am very glad your eye is getting better, Suey. You look like a good biscuit-maker. I like to make biscuits a lot, too. Usually, when I am kneading, I touch my mouth to whatever part I am kneading!

I am a major kneader! Mom calls it "making bisquits" and she sez I don't make bisquits, I make bread!

"I love You" googlie eyes is a very important skill. It sounds like Meryl has mastered it. Suey, we're glad your eye is getting better.
