Nice shot.
BTW, I really enjoyed your previous post on puppy mills. It's really so sad that they are so prevalent. I hope people will become more aware and stop supporting them.

What a fabulous road. I love it! Makes me think of venturing off the beaten path although it looks well used.

Well this looks like it's in the middle of nowhere and it's cool with that animal hoofing it down the road. The animal doesn't look real familiar to me...

Seems so funny not to see snow in a photo taken Christmas Eve. I have to remember half the world celebrates the holiday in the summer. Nice "Road" photo!

I know this kind of road. You always have to on the look out for a sudden surprise, a wonderful view of something you didn't expect.

Good choice.

Great shot, and what makes it great to me is the cow coming down the road. :)

It looks like a very very dry New York country road, lol! I am really enjoying people's photos of other places around the world. Thanks for such a treat!

And thanks for visiting my PH today. :)

G'day, Banana Bender. 8-}
I love how it looks so similar to some of our Florida back roads. I'm sure I'd be right at home out there. Happy hunting!

Thanks to all for stopping by to comment:)

I'm not certain what kind of animal he was, but looked like a cross between a cow and some kind of water buffalo. He was very sedate, and we stopped to watch as he wandered on along the road for about 50 metres, until he turned up a driveway, then into a paddock. It was as if he had just gone out for a walk. Very surreal.

Tamy 3 sides of crazy, the weather doesn't change too dramatically. Up in the mountains (hills really) where this was taken, it gets about 8 degrees Celsius cooler than sea level, which was a nice break in the middle of summer. We do have a rainy season in February, and it gets down to about 8 degrees during the night in winter.

We were driving, but having problems with the radiator. At this point, we were facing a long walk and an expensive towing bill. Thankfully, it didn't come to that:)

I made the picture bigger and thought it was a goat.It was a very well behaved animal, wasn't it?
Our goats like to get in cars. Not a good thing for visitors, so they can't come out when anyone is here.

That is a very nice road, serene and peaceful..

It's kind of lonely... but the rustic look reminds me so much of outbacks here.

Such a beautiful shot. I love how the dirt road appears to rise and is surrounded by the trees
