The Girl With the Curls and the Whiskers that Swirl

Evie-
When I first got to my foster home, I didn't have any whiskers. We Rexes have brittle whiskers, and they break easily. Mine were all gone, completely. I didn't even have little stubs! But now, after 7 weeks, they are long enough to see in some pictures!

I have white whiskers and black whiskers. The black ones are very hard to see in photos. Some of them curl! My foster mum thinks I look like the men who have the curly moustaches. Look at them! I'm developing quite a crop!

When I arrived here, I also had a rough, dull coat. I was completely bald around my neck, my belly, and had some random bald patches. I have had a great big shed, and now have nicer fur coming in. I feel so much softer to my foster mum. I also have new fur on the back of my neck, fuzz on the rest of it, and some re-growth on my bald spots.

My coat is looking really lovely. I look like a sheep!! MOL!!

Here is a gratuitous cute photo. See how much healthier I look.

Evie, we are very pleased to meet you! Your curly furs are very cute. Our friend Daisy also has some issues with her whiskers. Do not worry, though. You are very cute, with or without!

You look awesome! For some reason, the whiskers on one side of my face always break off, and the other side stays long! I am glad to know another curly girl.
