Kittens

Hi everybuddy,
I have found something that I like to watch more than BirdTV. It is called KittenTV. Barney and Dino have been putting on some great shows for me. I like to sit back on my couch and watch them run around and being silly. I highly recommend it!

Three Years

Welcome to my Gotcha Day Party! First, I will do the big reveal of big Freddie. This is him on the bed today in our spare room, having a knead on the blanket. He is looking much more mancatly than last time I saw him. This is Freddie during his last week with us before he went to his Forever Home. You can see how big Lishy was compared to Freddie. This is the boys today. Freddie is on the left. He has done a lot of catching up, and is about the same size as my runty brother. There is 8 weeks between them in age. Freddie is fatter though. The boy loves his food, and he has a very accomodating dad!
Freddie spent his first 24 hours here in the spare room and adjoining bathroom. Lishy snuck in between mum's feet when she was going into his room, and the boys responded really well to each other. I also snuck in, and Freddie didn't have a problem. Mum decided to leave his door open and supervise us, and we have been having lots of fun! Freddie has only ventured as far as the landing, but is really enjoying having buddies to play with. Suey is just ignoring us all, as usual, although she has had a couple of nose kisses with Freddie. (I thought I would add, mum only lets us mix with Freddie because she knows he is a strictly indoor cat who has had all his vaccinations. He comes to the clinic mum works in for his check ups. If she didn't know his health status, he would have been quarantined in the same way shelter foster kittens are). Mum and dad went out for a couple of hours today. When they left, Freddie was asleep in the wardrobe in his room. When they got home, Freddie was still asleep in the wardrobe!Today, I have been living with my mum and dad for three years. This is the first photo of me that wasn't blurry or of my bum.Mum thinks I was a gorgeous wee boy, and I tend to agree ;) This is me and my first toy, Marty Mouse. You might remember Marty as the intrepid reporter who travelled between Townsville and Sydney with mum and dad last year. I settled in really well, and was wandering around like I owned the place within an hour. Mum is very grateful to my foster mum, her friend Kate, who raised me to be a confident, well adjusted babycat.
Now, it's time to party! We've got all sorts of stinky goodness and Temptations, so dig in! :)
Love Fui.

We Love Fui

Hello! It's Ron here! Our foster brother Fui is a really really good foster brother. He is teaching us to play! He likes to spend time with us teaching us about flicking tails and pouncing on paws and general silliness. We are still staying inside our crate and fencing while we perfect our litterbox habits. When Fui wants to play with us, he comes to our fence and stares at our foster mum until she helps him over. When we see him coming, we race to where he is. Sometimes, we play pattycake with each other through the fencing.Even Suey has had a go at this game. Although she usually likes to have a little bit of a hiss as well. It keeps us guessing. I like this photo, because it is when I bopped Fui on the nose. He didn't mind. He is fun like that. Our foster mum said he is a very good boy because while he can be a bit boisterous, he is never rough. He never uses claws or teeth when he is playing with us. While he sends us flying sometimes, he is never aggressive, and we always come back for more. (Our foster mum does stay close though. If she is not watching and is not very close, Fui is not allowed within the fence. When she is out or away, we go inside the crate). When Fui is resting on the couch, we like to sit up the end of our yard that is closest to him. The other night, I was having a snuggle with my foster mum, and Fui even started to clean me! My foster mum said I am the only kitten he has ever done that with, so I feel like quite a special little baby mancat. This video is of Fui and us Hogwartians playing. Fui's favourite trick is to sit ontop of the scratching post and tease us with his tail. Sometimes he jumps down. Once he was walking laps of our fence, and we three little ones were following him in a line. My foster mum said it looked like a mother duck was taking her babies out for a walk!

Have a happy week:)
From Ron.

Fuifui's Tipping Contest!

Hi kitties! It's an exciting time in the world of Fuifui Moimoi the tabby cat. Tomorrow, my team will take the field in the NRL Grand Final! They haven't done that in my whole lifetime! Or even the lifetime of a really really old cat!First, I'll give you a bit of a kitten fix. Aren't they the cutest?
Hermione and Ron had a great snuggle yesterday. They looked very cozy. I was tempted to jump in and join them!
Harry had a sweet snuggle under his dinosaur. He is just too adorable. Ron is feeling better again today. All three kittens are continuing to eat and sleep well, and are starting to walk very well.
Now on to the exciting part! For the first time ever, I am running a tipping contest! The Parramatta Eels are taking the field tomorrow at 5pm NSW time, to play the Melbourne Storm. I want to hear who you think will win, in the comments on this post. After the game, I will put the names of all the kitties, woofies etc who chose the winning team into a bowl (1 entry per household). Then, I will select a winner! I will make a donation to the in the name of the winner. Entries will close at 5pm NSW time on Sunday, when the game kicks off.
Go Parra!!!!

Babies Day Out

Today mum had to run some errands. To keep the babies on their feeding schedule, they went along too. Harry was happy to hang out in the carrier and just relax, while Hermione snoozed under their snuggle dinosaur. When mum took that little troublemaker Ron out for a feed, he tried to drive away! It's just lucky his feet didn't reach the pedals. He seems to be feeling much better today. The vet got mum to worm the babies last night, and we think that has made them all more comfortable. Some of the things that have since come out of Hermione... wowza!
I also have an announcement to make! On account of my namesake Fuifui Moimoi playing in the National Rugby League Grand Final, my mum said I could have a contest! Make sure to come back tomorrow to see all the details!:)
For those who have never seen any rugby league, this is a short video of some Fuifui highlights from a game earlier this season. This clip has a line that mum and dad got excited over when they heard it- "The chop Suey from Fuifui"!

I hope that you enjoy it:)

Yeowww!!!!!

Mum brought us a surprise home the other day.
She finally sprung for a Yeoww! catnip toy. Previously she ignored them because they are quite expensive here. But after seeing how much the Blogosphere enjoys them and then seeing some of the toys on sale, she took the plunge.

That plunge made me a happy mancat!
I kicked. I bit. I chewed.
I even went a bit doo-lally!
I especially enjoyed my cigar because I got to enjoy it with my daddy! He got home on Friday night, and that made me one very happy mancat.
