Gotcha'd!

It's my GotchaBirthdayVersary extravaganza! Four years ago I was handed to my mum, wrapped up in a beanie to try and keep my newborn body warm. That day I wrapped her around my teeny tiny paw, and I've never let go.

I was the piece of the puzzle that nobody knew was missing. Suey loves to wrassle with me because I don't just sit on her and squash her. Fui loves to wrassle with me because I don't get grumpy and run off when he tries to sit on me and squash me. We all love cuddling each other.
Those who knew us back in the oldendays of my kittenhood may remember that I wasn't a well baby and my prognosis wasn't terribly bright. So to be sitting here, stuffed to the ruff with flaked tuna, inviting my friends to party with me feels very special indeed.

Happy Gotcha Day/Birthday! We hope you're getting lots of extra treats and cuddles today.

And we do remember that you were sick, that the prognosis wasn't good, even though it's not quite four full years since we've been around.

We're so glad you've survived and even more, thrived! :-)

I so remember the bleak prognosis you were given and I was afraid every time I came to your blog I would see you were gone. I was over-the-top overjoyed when you continued to thrive and that all these years later, you are just a normal kitty, only more handsome! Happy gotcha day!

Happy, Happy Birthday/Gotcha Day, sweet Lishy. We also remember all the dire news about how sick you were, and nobody knew if you would be with your family for very long. But you grew well and very, very handsome.

Hope you get lots of tuna today also.

We are sorry to be so late in sending our good wishes, Lishy! We remember it all so well, and our joy when you made it despite that terrible prognosis. Those cute photos of you wearing a collar that seemed enormous on your tiny white fluffy self. What a fabulous mancat you are now!
