Toothy Thursday

I am home! And I got to keep all my teeth! Hooray! I was even given a party bag to bring home with me. The nurse thought I was a girl (don't laugh) so she put girly stickers on for me. It has a toy mouse and some dental treats in there, along with some information on trying to prevent dental problems in the future. And also medicine. Yuck.

I got a bravery certificate, too. I thought this was very appropriate. I also played a trick on my mum. She always warns the v-e-t about me, because I can be a bit of a tetchy pain in the pantaloons. Because I'm so fluffy and little and cute, people don't always expect that when I'm cornered I will fight like a gladiator if I need to. So today, I was as nice as pie. I loved up on people, I did exactly what they needed me to, and I basically tried to be like 'Everybody in the whole world loves me because I'm the best behaved cat ever' Fui. When mum came to pick me up and said she hoped I hadn't been mean to anyone the staff looked at her like she was a crazy person.
Now that I'm home I've reverted to my normal 'YOU'RE NOT COMING NEAR ME WITH THAT MEDICINE, LADY' attitude. I have to take antibiotics twice a day for the next 7 days. I'm one dose down, and I made my mum fight for it. This will be a fun 7 days. MOL.

Yay, we're glad you're home and got to keep your teeth! And wow, a bravery certificate. Gees, we don't get anything like that. We don't get any treats, either. Just toothpaste and a brush we don't want our human coming near us with. And a big bill for our mom. LOL.

Your vet is cool!! a certificate and a bag of goodies (even if there were meds inside) what a bonus! and you got to keep all your teefies!

I once had a kitty who like you had me convinced he'd rip the techs to pieces and after they did what they needed to do they looked at me like I was crazy because he was a good kitty.. It is a really neat trick to make the beans feel so silly.

Well done, Lishy, you were a very brave boy and we are so glad you still have all your teeth. We know that taking meds is a pain but they do help so try not to be too hard on your Mum! Paws crossed and lots of purrs for a speedy return to normal.

Wow Lishy! A real bravery certificate! We've never seen such a thing. I mean...we've been going to the v-e-t place for years and NONE of us has EVER earned a bravery certificate. You must have been AMAZING!!! We are proud to be your furriends. It makes us purr that you got to keep all your teeth.

Hooray! We're so glad it went well, and that you git to keep all your teefs, Lishy! :)

And it might have something to do with being a white cat ... Moosey, who is a big mancat, has been called a girl before, too. MOL

We're so glad you got to keep all your teefs. We think the stickers on your party bag are very cool and perfectly appropriate for mancat. We are also very impressed by your bravery certificate. We would never be able to earn one of those from our vet. We always try to hide by lying very flat in the bottom of the carrier. Mommy says that it looks like an empty carrier with pretty striped carpeting.
