Miserable Monday

It has been raining a lot at my house. My dirt is all waterlogged, and I haven't been allowed to play in my courtyard. I sit at the back door and I cry and I whine and I reach up really tall and try to hang off the door handle, and still nobody will unlock it for me. I'm a tough tortie girl, I'm not afraid of raindrops!
Sigh.

WE are sorry you are missing outside tome in your courtyard. All the poor outside kitties learn how to deal with the rain, so you should get to try it!

Oh Suey! That's absolutely awful. The weather here has been dreadful too and when I do the same as you in front of the cat door, #1 goes past a few times, saying "it's just too nasty out" but she sometimes does open up so I can see for myself... She's a bit of a soft touch that way.

yuck - think of it this way....if you got wet, your grooming routine would take forever!!

Maybe someone will open the door during a break in the rain. You have to promise not to roll on the ground, though!

Poor Suey, it is miserable isn't it? A hose-pipe ban was imposed here early in April and it has hardly stopped raining since!! Enjoying a few raindrops is alright but getting really wet and dirty produces horrible after effects so perhaps it is best to find a cosy spot and curl up for an extra nap. Special purrs to you all.

Suey, you may not be afraid of raindrops but I am! I think any kitty who wants to go out when it's wet is a little bit nuts.

Well. That is just plain old cat abuse! To deny you your heart's desire...mean, mean, mean.

They should definitely unlock the door for you. Every day and every time you want! Once you've achieved that please tell us how so we can work on our mom too.
