When mum and dad were doing their drive over to Perth, they stopped for a day to see the animals at Monarto Zoo in South Australia. It is a great big open plains zoo with big natural enclosures. While there they got to visit with three handsome cheetah boys, and see them get some lunch. These boys were born as part of a breeding program. They ended up needing to be seperated from their mum as she developed an infection and were handraised, which is why their keeper is able to be so close to them.As you can see, the boys are very handsome. The sisters from their litter now live at Australia Zoo, the zoo developed by the Irwin family.

So that's how the big cats do it? Wow...we all have to eat our food off little plates on the kitchen floor...clearly mom needs to install trees in our house so we can do it right!!!
Love Cheetas!
WOW! Awesome pics! Thanks for sharing. xx
Thanks for sharing these great photos!!! Our meomwy used to work for the Audubon Nature Institute (our local Zoo and Aquarium), and she got to pet two lionesses who had been hand rasied. She said when she got home that night the cats who owned her then were VERY upset with the strange smells!!! Big cats are awsome, and it is great to see them well cared for so they can live in safety.

What a wonderful zoo. All that space for the cats to feel at home in!
Awesome! But we think that Fui and Lishy are even better-looking!

Wow, what magnificent creatures those cheetahs are. We're with you ... trees for noms sound good to us, too! :)
Those cheetahs have it made! I think having a tree to drag my food under would be awesome.
that reminds me of my doggy brother who takes his bones under the coffee table to eat them MOL!
That is wonderful that the Irwins opened a zoo...they do so much for animals...have you seen how beautiful Bindi is becoming? She has become so grown up!
Those cheetahs are so handsome. We can tell that us cats are related!
Those big kitties are so beautiful! Nature at it's finest!
