Oh don't feel bad - we think that lots of cats are the same way with their gardening - we know we are! Some cats have a green paw and some don't - that is just how it goes. And it does look like you had fun at least!
Yep - we do that too. That is why we don't have any in the house. We are going to try to convince mom to plant one of the boxes with cat grass this spring...
Well, what could anyone expect? Most of us cats don't have green thumbs - we don't have any thumbs whatsoever, in fact! In spite of the large number of gardening kitties online, there really are not that many in the general cat population.
There's a solution to this problem. I know how to keep that spilling and messing from happening. We are just starting to grow some fresh grass, and I will take pix of the thingie that keeps dirt off the floor and the grass from all coming out of the pot.
Everyone have a great day and come see us sometime.
We agree with Cory. Enjoying dirt is an important of gardening too. That is usually the step right before the old pot mysteriously disappears and you get a new pot of yummy grass.
Hahahhahahaha! We've been catching up with you guys! Mom returned from her one week holiday in Switzerland today. She handed in her work on Monday 16th of May. It's such a relief for all of us! We hope we can get her to help us blogging soon. Many purrs, Siena & Chilli

Oopsie...that happened in our house too, now Teri just buys the grass in pots with no dirt, then puts them in a pretty pot and they last a few days...

Wow...you sure don't have a green paw!!
Yaow! They're gonna throw you out of the club!
Ginger and I blocked Jonesie's view of the computer...but I think she'd understand. We don't do well with indoor plants...just the outdoor ones.
You are still members in good standing of the Socitey of Feline Gardeners...mainly because you know how to enjoy dirt!!! Ha!
OMC! But we'd NEBER throw yoo owta the club ~ 'cos we like cats hoo try hard. It takes time to become a good gardener! So don't worry!
Love Alfie xx
I do the same to all mom's plants.
