I do have one area of expertise in the garden, however. That is to lie down on the pavers and allow my dad to worship me. He is very good at giving me pats.
My mum calls this next picture 'The Look of Love'. I'm a bit of a daddy's girl, you see. Mum often catches me gazing at my dad like he is the king of the world. These gazes are magnified when he is giving me some loving.

Well, we do not know how to even grow weeds, so you have us beat!
SueySunshineSausage, did you know that many herbs are considered weeds...like mint and catnip? You have a greener paw than you realize!

pee ess...even Ginger with no garden skills can keep it from freezing over. You just gotta work what you got.
Suey, we think you and your mum must be better, or certainly not worse, than our own mom! BTW, you could always plant a wildflower seed mixture appropriate for your growing conditions. Many consider those "weeds," but they bring a lot of butterflies to your garden and really don't require maintenance.
The mom says a green plant turns black when she owns it - even if its plastic! MOL

MOL... My mom has the same skill as your mom, Suey And she is hopeless about growing things : )
Last time, she grew Nip from seed. when it pop up, then she put on the grond. all disappear in two days. Don't know who ate it but not me !
We are probably the worst at gardening - my human kills every plant she tries to grow, and those that she doesn't kill I try to eat! So we are total losers.

Weeds? :sigh: There are lots of those in our garden. What's worse, SS doesn't even bother to think up excuses to work on them.
You are as pretty as any flower, Suey! Any garden is beautiful with you in it (we are sure your dad would agree).
My garden is covered under all the 'white stuff'. So I even enjoy the green weeds in your photos ~ along with the photo of you of course! :)

Suey, looking decorative and cute in the garden is just as impawtant as doing hard werk. After all, sumbuddy hasta snoopervise yoor dad when he's weeding, or cutting grass and stuff. So keep up the good werk!
