Today, mum and dad went to celebrate pretend Christmas before dad's sister, her husband and two little boys went overseas. They got home to this. While they were out, I broke into our treat cupboard. I ripped the ziplock bag open. I ripped open the bag of fishies even more. Then I ripped open the Temptations.
I made the biggest holes I could with my tiny tortie teeth. All the better to nom the treats up with. In my enthusiasm, I forgot to hide the evidence.Mum told me that she is in tight with Father Christmas. This could be a very lean year for this little tort.

Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh, SUEY!!!!! It's true that your tactical thinking is definitely not what it should be. But you get 100% for spirit of enterprise! I have been hearing rumours that there are naughty little elves who also have Santa's ear and manage to convince him to still be good to us naughty kitties! Paws crossed!

Uh Oh! Maybe he'll overlook this!
Suey...I'm in trouble too!! I climbed the Christmas tree...twice!! What are we gonna do??? I don't want a lump of coal in my stocking!!
I finks you are going to be ok viz Santa Claws, Suey...he has a special soft spot in his heart for torties. I should know, given some of the things I have gotten up to - and still have gotten prezzies! Just be extra sweet to Mom and Dad over then next few days and do cute kitty stuff - dat should help lots. Happy Christmas to you and your fambly!!!!
Oh no Suey...for some reason I'm thinking that what you did was so bad it was good. I mean, not many kitties could be as creative and talented as you were. And think of the educational and entertainment value you are bringing to kitties all over the world. Yeah, that's right. So as long as you can convince your mom to double what she would have donated to poor kitties...double fishies for all, then you'll be ok. I'm sure of it.
Our Mum says you cant blame cats for stuff as we have no morals as we are predators, whatever that means.
But it was naughty of you,
love Commie and Blanco.
Oh, dear. That does look a little bit naughty. But we think Santa will understand... being that you're a tortie and all. :]
Ooo! You are one clever kitty Suey! I think you should get extra presents from Santa for being oh so clever!
Ha! hahahaha! You have a silly Mom, thinking she could deny you your RIGHTFUL treats.
You didn't really steal from the poor, your Mom just didn't buy ENOUGH treats for everybody.
That's our story and we're sticking to it.
Suey, you need to see my current blog post - you are actually a good, resourceful kitty! In fact, I am quite impressed. FWIW, my tortie roomie, Binga, would have done the same thing had she the opportunity - and trust me, she would not get any fewer presents.
You "stole from the poor"!? That line cracked me up. Do not worry, I'm sure your mom will get more treats for for the Santa Paws Drive and you can keep those. It's a perfect solution.
Awwww you poor baby! I have to say I am really worried for you on this one!
I have to agree with Daisy that "stole from the poor" was hilarious!
I think your Mom will soften by then and tell Father Christmas that it was all an unfortunate accident and you will still get presents (((hugs)))
But how can they prove it was you?
You had an early Christmas, Suey!
Sweetie, we think Mom will tell Father Christmas that it was all a mistake
Oh oh... it is a good thing that Santa only has a 'nice' list for kitties. After all, the Christmas season is all about giving which is part of 'forgiving'... right??? :)
xo Catherine
Suey, when Santa learns you were just testing the treats for freshness,he will forgive you :)
No need to worry ;)
Thanks for the giggles though! heeheehee
Purrs Mickey,Georgia & Tillie
You just got started early right...
My friends, I am very impressed. Rumblemum thought I was the only one to do stuff like that, I'm so happy to show her I'm not...
(and I wouldn't worry about Santa. He's human. No human can resist us)
Suey: Our mum laughed and laughed.....she said that is something one of us might do, and none of us are torties!!!! We know Father Christmas will understand, and he knows how good you are to all the foster kittens that come to your house.
Purrs,
The New Orleans Kitties
Sounds like what my Midnight would do! He's always chewing his way into a treat bag or a new bag of cat food. Silly kitties!
