My First Foster Sister

We thought it would be nice to take a look back at some of our fosters from before we started our blog! This was our first ever litter. Nigel has the mostly white face, Dohni has the mostly black face, and Tom Kitten is the little smokey tabby.Today I want to talk about Dohni. When she first came to stay with us, we thought she was a boy. When we found out she was a girl, it made a lot of sense. She was very pretty, and much daintier than Tom and Nigel. She was given her name by my uncle Andy, who named her after the cricketer M.S. Dohni. When they arrived, Dohni and her brothers got a good bath to get them cleaned up and free free. She didn't enjoy that too much!

Once they were clean and comfortable, all three of them fell fast asleep. They were so cute, and mum could not stop watching them!
I liked all the kittens, but Dohni was my favourite. She was a lot of fun to play with. She was quite a brave little girl, and I enjoyed spending time with her.Dohni liked to hang out in Dad's backpack. I think she thought it was good camoflage. Hahaha!
This is a video of me and Dohni playing. See what I mean about her being a brave girl! She and Nigel grew very quickly, so they were only with us for a few weeks. She found her Forever Home almost the minute she was up for adoption.

Have a happy week:)

Thank you for telling us about Dhoni, Fui. She obviously loved playing with you!

We hope you will be able to return to fostering soon. You are just so brilliant at it!

Mom could never foster, because she would fall hopelessly in love with every one and not be able to let them go. We are completely over the top impressed that you foster all these sweeties! And Dohni was very brave, indeed!

She is so cute. Thanks for sharing the lovely photos and story. Glad that she got a furrever home. I thought that cricketer was called Dhoni than Dohni though.

Have a great weekend :)

Dohni is adorable...but Nigel is all excited that you had a foster named Nigel!

We too hope you get to foster again. I think my mom would love to do it but she might not ever want to give up the kittens.

Did you ever hear what happened with Ellie and Angus? We still purr for them.

What three cutie pies! Our mom would love to foster but she doesn't think we'd be as tolerant as you and Suey are....

Fui,

mom says that watching the video reminded her of how we used to play when I was little and Boris was already a big cat. I'm still pretty dainty, but now that we are of a comparable size we play differently... and mom misses it just a little bit.

Mom would love to foster, but like you guys, we're the only cats allowed on the premises (not to mention that dad has put his foot down: mom can volunteer at shelters if she wants, but she is not to take little kittens home for any reason).

We are in awe of the work that you and your mom put in all those little kittens.
