We are currently getting ready for the increasing possibility that Tropical Cyclone Hamish will affect Townsville. We have our cyclone plan ready, and are as prepared as we can be. There is a likelihood that if it does hit, we will lose power, so just wanted to say that we are ready for it, just incase:)

Oh my God! A tropical storm! We suffer a tt 2 years ago (Canary Islands, Spain) and we were one week without electricity. Mom still scares when remembers the hard wind.

We hope you are all safe and that mean old storm leaves you alone. We once had an ice storm here and lost power for four days. I am very thankful we had a wood stove so we could stay warm and the PM could melt snow. It wasn't very fun.
