Look At Me!!!! :)

Hi! These videos are not too good, but we got our foster mum to show how well Polly is going. With her perfect timing, she got the camera out when Polly had just eaten and was ready for a nap, so she wasn't very active. However, you can see how alert she is, and how she is focusing really well with her beautiful golden eyes. When she was unwell, she was completely apathetic to anything going on around her, and didn't look or focus. You can also see how lovely her coat is looking. It has started getting really soft in the last couple of days. She has nearly caught up to Penny's weight, too.

Of course, we couldn't let Polly be the sole focus, and did our best to get some camera time, too. We were feeling happy in these videos, because our foster mum told us some really happy news. Loki and Apollo were both adopted in recent days! Hooray!!!!!!! Our foster mum found out today, and she is very happy for both beautiful boys. Athena and Freja are scheduled for their ladygardenectomies on Tuesday.

Our foster mum also wanted to share something with the other beans. Today she went and donated blood. It was much easier than she imagined, and while it stung a bit as the needle went in, after that it only felt like a bit of pressure. One donation is 500mLs, and it took about 10 minutes (minus the paperwork). The 500mLs in each donation could be used for up to 3 people, for people who've been in accidents, people who need blood stocks on standby during surgeries, and people who need blood products to live a healthier life. Our foster mum recommends looking into the donation process where you live, to see if it's something you might like to try. The donation has left her with a good feeling in her heart.

Happy almost Friday!

We loved the moment in the second video, when all four were sitting, staring and following the movement of the mouse with their heads!!! Your videos are far better than ours - mum ashames us...
It was very good of your mom to donate blood. Everytime is a good time.

The girls are growing up!!

Good on your mum for giving up some red stuff, unfortunately my mum has been to the UK and eaten burgers. So, she may never be able to donate.

Smooches.

It's great to see the little ones doing so well.

Good on you for the blood donation! Our #1 has been donating blood for years, and more recently started plasma donations. It's painless and it does save lives!

Polly is looking great! And that's wonderful news about Loki and Apollo!

My Mommie is a little too nervous to give bloods, but my Daddie does it all the time. And sometimes he gives plasma, which I think works a little differently. I remember for a while, each time he gave blood, they would send one specific blood chemistry reading, a different one each time. So after doing it a bunch of times, you ended up with a complete blood panel result for free!

Polly is looking superb! That is great to see!

The MM donates blood regularly but the PM doesn't as she has low iron. That's what you get for being a veggie I guess!

Maybe I can talk her into some ham....

Momma used to be a regular blood donor.. and boy does she have some stories to tell... hehe but the funniest and less serious is just the colour some people go... you would not think skin could turn the colours it does :)
pes: I think some kitteh playing training is in order!! I will have to concentrate my thoughts to the little guys to show them how to kill the mousies! :))

So cute! Glad to hear that more of the kitties are being adopted. Very generous of your mum to donate blood. We should all consider doing that if possible and be proud that Australia is a country where blood is available free to all as a result of the generosity of people like your mum.
