Mancat Observations

I was looking at some photos that mum and dad brought back from their holiday. They went to a place called while they were staying in
. I noticed how much the big giant cats look like me!

These are some cheetah tails and toesies. They were hiding out from the sun in their aptly named hide, so mum didn't get such a great view. But this was the important part. See these?

Now look at my tail and toesies! They are very similar. Infact, if the cheetah could retract its claws, I would go as far as saying they have the same tail and toesies, with a different paint job.

Now, check out this lion. He is wearing his handsome face very well. This sounds like someone else I know...

Me!! I also wear my handsome face very well!

This lion was having a good old yawn during his mid day snooze. Remind you of anyone in particular?
What about me!! He looks just like me!
It wasn't just lions and cheetah toesies that reminded me of someone I know. This tiger has a striking resemblance to...

Yep, that's right, it's me again!!

There was something I recognised in this serval too. I couldn't put my finger on it at first. It was silly, and was having fun playing games. Silly... games... that's it!
Suey and the serval were like twins!

You know what else reminded me of this loaf of kittenhead?

The hippo!!! Hahahahahahahahaha!

I got you, Suey! MOL! I have some other cool photos to show you tomorrow!:)

P.S. The beautiful Norwegian Forest kitty is celebrating her birthday today. She had a super fun idea for kitties to post something baby like about them today.

This is the first photo mum took of me on my first day home. Great work there!

This is the first cute kitten photo she took of me. She thinks I look like baby Simba in the Lion King in this!

This is the first photo mum took of Suey on her first day home. She was in the kitten fort that dad made for us.

This is the first cute photo of Suey.

And, because it fit in a couple of ways, this is mum when she was a baby, meeting Father Christmas for the first ever time. That is her dad holding the drink behind her.

This is a video from the day we met mum for the first time. For those who don't know our story, we were found abandoned with our brother and sister in a building lot. We were raised by a wonderful foster mum (she was the lady who looked after us when mum and dad were on holiday). When we were old enough, 3 of us went up for adoption through a vet. In this video, you can see our sister, Hissy Miggins, sitting up with me. She got that name because she hissed a lot! Our brother Happy (whose name was ironic!) found his home through our foster mum. He is a caramel tabby.

The other kitty in the video is Mo. He was a cool dude. Hissy and I were adopted early on, but Suey had to wait a while. While she was stuck at the vet, Mo took care of her. Because he was big and strong, Suey learned to be very agile when playing with him, skills she still has today. Mo also found a cool forever home!:)

Happy New Year everybuddy!

Oh they were such sweet baby photos, and you do look like a lion/tiger/cheetah.

Poor Suey, she doesn't look like a hippo - how cheeky.

We hope you all have some relaxing time together.

What a wonderful post! Mum is still squeeing frm the videos (we need to apply a daily kitten limit for her we think). We agree, you are both full of the wild, big cat goodness and spirit (and no hippo-ness at all).

Here's wishing you all a Happy & Peaceful 2009. Thank you for all the work you do for kittens, you are lovely friends, to us and all cats!

What a beautiful cat, I love your stripes and in the picture where you are yawning you do look like a wild cat, very cute. That is a cute picture of your mum with Father Christmas. I hope you have a very nice new year and I will be back soon.

ha ha ha what a fun post! I lvoe the big cat comparisons (but disagree with the hippo...I guess you're supposed to tease siblings tho!)

You were such adorable little kittens. Those videos were darling. Mommy is trying to think of something "baby" for me since I was rescued at around 2 years old.

Happy New Year to you all! PS thank you so much for the card! It was great

Cute pictures! I suppose that those wild cat pictures DO look quite like you! My old cat Precious used to have some spotty-ish markings on her tummy, reminding me of a bobcat or a lynx!

Mommy stop squealing and replaying those videos. I'm having to hide her car keys to prevent her from running to the shelter. This is almost too much kitten goodness!

You and the big kitties could be like twins.

So nice of you to drop by and play with me. Have a Happy New Year and I'll be visiting again.
