Our tree!

I had an important duty this weekend. I had to snoopervise the putting up of the Christmas tree. And do you know what I think? Mum would have been lost without me! These are our start that look like sea anenomes. They get to be up with the real star of this show- me! See me in the portrait? Mum used the instructions of the amazingly talented Lori Marie from . Her site is just beautiful. She made a portrait of her beautiful pup Matilda on Martha Stewart! Mum was quite happy with how this one turned out. Suey's on the other hand looked like the offspring of a worried cat and a koala!
This is our butterfly. He has to stay up high, because he is too fragile to face off against me.
This is our kiwi. Each year, mum and dad get an ornament to mark the year. This one shows the year they went to New Zealand to see mum's family.

This is our tree frog. We got him to mark our time in Townsville, because there are lots of tree frogs around!:)
This is our reindeer. I like him! He hangs out up high, so I can't chew on his pointy bits.

This is our new peacock. We are Not Allowed to touch him, and he stays right at the top, just under our star.
He has beads and real feathers. And he is super lucky that we don't climb the tree! He sits on the branches so we can't see him from down low.

It was lots of fun decorating the tree. When are you putting yours up?
We hit a snag with our cards. When mum got the quote, they told her they would be ready in a week. When she took the order in, it had gone up to two. So we're a little behind schedule this year. But they are coming!:)

What lovely decorations and that's a smart portrait of you too! We aren't sure whether we are having a tree this year, there might not be much room. Happy Supervising on Sunday to both of you and your Mum.
We like your new blog style very much - cool!

Your blog looks beautiful! Furry nice and special tree decoration you got there. We will be going to the family of mom's boyfriend and they have a beautiful real tree. Mom is quite nervous about our reaction, though! Hehehe...
The portrait is lovely too, we have to see those instructions. Have a nice Sunday!

It looks like your Christmas tree has fuzzy little striped legs and a tail. You have some great decorations. The peacock is really beautiful. Your mum did a wonderful job on your portrait.

WE just adore your Momma and dadda's idea of getting a new ornament every year, that is super special :)
Momma is a super big Peacock fan so as you can imagine she is extra drooling over your Peacock :)

Your ornaments are furry pretty! We think they would be furry fun to play with!

Mom won't put our our tree up for another week or so cuz we climb in it and knock all the ornaments off...mom sez Santa Claws won't come to our house if we don't leave the tree alone...

Wonderful tree you have! Thanks for the cool tour of it! The PM tries to get special ornaments too. We plan to put ours up the end of this week but the PM is worried that Banshee will go nuts!!

I'll blog about it for sure if she does. ;0)
