Today I Am a Hawk Cat!

The Mighty Flying Hawks did it! They won 18.7 (115), to Geelong's 11.23 (89). I was very excited to see Shane Crawford, who mum thinks is very funny when he teases Sam Newman on the Footy Show, get a flag after all this time. While I must admit I slept for most of the game and then went off to play for the final quarter, I know they couldn't have done it without me! Hooray for Hawthorn!

Unfortunately, the Warriors couldn't pull through and lost to the Sea Eagles, 32-6. We were disappointed to see them fail when they were so close to the end, but I guess there is always next year. It can be hard work being a Sportscat sometimes! There are ups and downs and round abouts, and a sleep is necessary to recover.

My happiest cheer yesterday was for the human beans when they returned after conquering the Goat Track up Castle Hill. It was tough for mum, but she was very excited to have made it. I celebrated with them by demanding my dinner when they got home.
