A Clarification

 Hi everybody. It's Suey here. It's come to my attention that my brothers are spreading untruths about me. They have been suggesting to everyone on the internet that I am mellowing out in my middle age and instead of being the cat who hisses at orphaned kittens I am becoming a cat in touch with her mummy side. This is categorically untrue. It is not a fact that I like to cuddle against the baby when she sleeps with my mum. It is not a fact that I watch her intently when she plays. It is not a fact that I will scurry to find my mum if I hear the baby crying. I don't then cry at my mum when the baby cries to ask if she is ok. It is most certainly not a fact that I stand up against the cot and watch the baby if she gets upset, and I don't purr at her to try and calm her down. OK? I'm glad we've cleared that up.
I have a reputation to protect.

    You definitely cleared up the misunderstanding. We are sure there is also a perfectly logical explanation for why it appears that you are snuggling with the baby in that picture.
