It is today! We have been blogging for a year now.
We initially started as a bit of a diary for Evie, our first adult foster kitty. We had come across kitty blogging while looking for some information about Devon Rex kitties, which we think Evie was. We came across Daisy's blog, and thought it would be a great way to keep a record of our fosters. We had been told (mistakenly) that Evie was pregnant, so for our first posts we were on kitten watch.
We have really enjoyed being blogging kitties. It has been a lot of fun getting to know so many kitties, woofies and their people, and making some good friends.
We would like to thank everyone for coming and visiting us, and for your support in good times and bad.
Our blogoversary coincided with one of mum's favourite days, RSPCA's fundraiser Cupcake Day. So we have pupcakes to celebrate (well, really a pigcake and a sheepcake, but we're not picky).
Here is to another year as blogging kitties!:)

ReplyDeleteFui, bendrix is sorry he didn't get you some tips before your VET appnt. a jelly belly gummi bear? oh man.
it is kinda good you are nice at the VET so they can check you out and you won't have to be gassed (that happens to us when we need a complete exam & shots) so we'll give you some good protesting tips.
first watch Animal Planet shows with big cats. then practice the low growl into the yowl. it scares the beans and puts them on alert there is a predator in their midst.
second, do NOT come out of the carrier voluntarily. make them work for it. some warning swipes without claws, then with claws.
no matter what, do NOT allow your temperature to be taken. if bean humans can have ear thermometers, so should we. the other way is just humiliating...
after the exam is over, run to your mommy. she will think you are coming to her for comfort and protection and you'll get extra treats to make you feel better.
