Wistful Wednesday

Today, we are thinking of all the beings in Christchurch who are suffering so much in the aftermath of the horrible earthquake, and sending all of our love over the sea. We are very relieved to be able to say that our Kiwi family is safe and sound. The handsome Rumbles has a ChipIn widget on his blog, raising money for the Christchurch SPCA who will have so many demands on their time and finances in the coming weeks. If you are able to help, we know it would be well used.

Tabby Tuesday

Hey dudes and dudettes. Thankyou for the nice words about my manky chin. Once again I'm getting a gold star from my mum for being the best boy ever while I'm being treated. I have asked her to shoot me in soft focus while I'm not looking my best. Mum had a freak out at the v-e-t yesterday. A website mum and dad bought something from had their customer database compromised, so VISA cancelled all the customer card numbers recorded incase the hackers tried to use them. Both mum and dad's bank cards were cancelled. Mum found this out when she was trying to pay the vet bill when the transaction wouldn't go through. She felt super dodgy because it was the first time we have ever been to this vet, and she was scared they would try and hold me captive as collateral against the bill.

Thankfully they were understanding and a hostage situation was avoided. Which was a big relief for me, because my dinner was waiting for me at home!

Mancat Monday

Hey everybuddy. It's Lishy here. Fui and I enjoy being rough and tumble mancats, but not all of the time. We also like to lay back and relax together.

Today I'm giving Fui some extra special lovin'. You might remember he had a sore chin back in December. Unfortunately he developed another infection on his chin where his acne bothers him over the weekend. He was at the vet for more medicine today, and his chin has been shaved down again to make it easier to clean. My poor buddy is feeling a bit sorry for himself. He's on the path to recovery now, and we will continue on our mission to try and stop it happening again.

Super Saussy Sunday

Hi everybody! It's Suey Sunshine-Sausage here. I am going to give you a very blurry demonstration of how I leap about on my book shelves. First, I go to my take off spot on the grey bookshelf.

It's important to do a great big stretch first of all to prepare your body.

I sight my target, and visualise the jump I'm about to make.

Focusing on my target, I lean forward and wiggle my little bum

before leaping across the divide!

It's very satisfying to hit my target point.

I then call out to my mum or dad, and get them to come over for a nose kiss. They have to stand on tip toe to reach me! With flying skills like this, I think I probably need a cape.

Wicktory Wednesday

The super mega cliffhanger we left you with yesterday was me and Lishy glaring at each other over the cigar. Lishy's next move was to show me his ridiculously fluffy tummy, begging me to pounce on him. While he was swishing about, I pounced on the cigar instead!

He wasn't expecting that, and got his slap on again.

His little toehawky whaps didn't have any effect on my big box head, and the next thing I knew he'd pounced!

The little kitten face forgot that I weight twice as much as him though, and I flipped him off pretty quick. At that point, he decided to run away with his floofy tail swishing all about.

That means I get to declare myself winner! I dedicate this victory to the lovely Ginger. I cropped my Winner! photo to G rated in your honour, my dear.

But now I have to keep a look out, because I know Lishy will be back for round 523 at any moment!

Tough Guy Tuesday

Hi kitties. Fui here. When last we saw the catnip cigar, it was safely in Lishy's possession. This could not continue. It's Fui time. I sidled up to him to see how easily he would give it up.

He didn't seem too possessive, so I decided to try my luck.

That was the signal for the no good ball of floof to attack!

Our slap fight was tough, strong, and very very manly.

After puffing ourselves out we stopped to stare each other out, looking for signs of weakness. How will the battle for the catnip cigar end up this time?

Fun on Friday

Friday is for fun! I have lots and lots of fun with my Yeoww Cigar.

Well, it's sort of mine. It was Fui's first, but we battle for it and I won the last round.

It makes me go all silly billy google eyed as I chomp and bunny kick it. I hope you find something to have fun with this Friday :)

P.S. There is nothing wrong with my eye, I was just practicing my pirate impression. Pirates bunnykick and chomp on cigars, don't they?

My Kittens

Lishy Kitten loves his babies. He so desperately wants to get in there and play with them.

For now he makes do with playing paws under the door.

The kittens have lots of fun playing with their Uncle Lishy. He's a good boy.

Mummy and Me

Venus and her mum Galaxy love to sit on the window sill in their roomThey enjoy watching the birds and sniffing the fresh air. Little Venus likes to hang out with her mum.

Venus is slowly getting more comfortable with people, with the help of some stinky goodness which she adores. She sure is a pretty girl :)

Mad Monday

We had a really crazy night on Friday night. I was sitting on my cat tree minding my business, when the wind started to pick up.

The gusts got stronger and stronger, until suddenly,

I was blown right off my cat tree! There were really big storms that night, which had us all on edge. There was lots of rain, and parts of Melbourne flooded. Mum nearly got the car flooded in when she was doing the food shopping on Saturday morning! The bonus for us is that some of the tiles got blown off the roof at dad's work, and the carpets got all wet. While the damage is no good, we got to have him home today for a free long-weekend :)
