The not so good news is that I am not very well. I have bad insides, and that makes lots of fluid gather in my belly. It is also stopping me from growing, and making me really hungry but unable to absorb food properly. It is the reason I get tired very quickly, too. There is nothing that the vet can do to make me better. Her estimate is that I have a few months at best.
The good news is that I have a Forever and Ever Home. My mum and dad adopted me today. I have a sister called Suey and a brother called Fui. I am going to be loved and spoiled and cared for for the rest of my days. My friend Greta even gave me an orange tent that is shaped like a mouse!

The vet report doesn't sound too promising. We wormed him again today in the hope it is a worm burden. If not, things mentioned included FIP, and problems with his heart, kidneys or digestive system. Tests are possible, but are expensive and tricky. The vet said that she didn't believe he was thriving.
At the moment, we're playing a game of wait and see. We're rather heartbroken, but are praying for a miracle.

Little Ronnylicious didn't quite understand the concept, but he did his best. He is very cute, though.

The eyes of both boys are right on the verge of starting to open, George's slightly more so. Mum's not using flash on them because they will be quite sensative, and was too silly to take pictures earlier in the day when there was natural light. This is one of the very few almost decent pictures that she got. Fred was kind enough to stay still enough for the teeny tiny openings to show in the picture.

The little brothers are fighting against all the odds, and continue to eat, sleep and poop well. They don't have names yet. Nothing has really fit them so far. But we will no doubt come up with something.

The bird is living in the bath at the moment. He is very messy. To get his beak clean, he flicks his head and the food shoots off! He also flicks poop all over the place.

Today, mum brought something way more interesting for me to look at home from work.
He is a juvenile rainbow lorikeet. He is staying with us for the weekend.

Polly, getting right into old Beverly Hills 90210 episodes.
Penny, showing off her big smile.
This photo is a favourite because it marked the moment that Polly really started to eat again, after being so sick.
Sally, who became one of the sweetest little snugglepusses we have ever met.
Sally and Penny having a play.
Polly, showing off her beautiful eyes.
Today, an injured possum was brought into Mum's work. It was amazing to see one up so close. It had been hit by a car, but is now in a specialist wildlife centre where he will hopefully make a full recovery.
These are the little clovery weedy things I am trying to stop from growing all over the pavers.
