Happy Halloween, everybuddy:)
The boy is getting good at his bunnykickin'!

It was toys from the Casbah Kitten shop!
They smelled a-maze-ing! Suey immediately pounced on the little yellow bean. I was also very interested.
She didn't appreciate my interest though and quickly smacked me upside the head.
When the fish came out of the box, Suey didn't even wait for it to come out of the wrapper before she wanted to play with it. She tried to rip the package herself!
When I tried to have a sniff, I had to quickly get in a defensive position when Suey launched an attack!
When I reached for the cute fatbird, the positions were reversed! Suey wanted to have a look, and I bopped her on the nose!
The fatberd is such a perfect shape for bunnykickin'. I had so much fun!
The toys are wonderful.
Thankyou very much, Grrreta!!!:) We are already having lots and lots of fun with these great toys:)
I also wanted to put in a note about Miss Stella Bella. She is an amazing young ladycat. For those who are new to our blog, we fostered Stella and her 5 babies from the babies birth day. Two of her babies survived to be adopted. We also had some other kittens while fostering Stella. One of them, Calvin, was failing to thrive. We had three kittens from Calvin's litter, and another foster mum had two. The other foster mum had Calvin's twin, and he was also failing to thrive. Calvin's twin ended up passing away. In a last ditch effort, mum put Calvin in with Stella. She immediately started caring from him, and he became a whole new kitten. She allowed him to feed from her, and he started growing quickly. As he got stronger, he started playing and having fun with Angus and Ellie. Calvin went on to find a wonderful family. Mum credit's Stella with saving his life.
Mum desperately wanted to add her to our family. However, with our dad's job we will be moving every couple of years. We had Stella when we were preparing to move to Sydney, and mum was surprised at just how hard it was to find a home with two cats. She thought three would be asking for trouble. Stella did have an initial hick up when she was desexed. She pulled her stitches out. Mum had wanted to bring her home to recover, but it wasn't allowed. She spent about a week healing, and was then adopted a week or so after that. The family who has her now is very lucky indeed.
We can't tell which is which in the baby photo. They were very similar when they were older. When they were still little tiny babies, they were identical!!!
Here they are with their mum Stella when they were 4 weeks old. She was a very very good mum.
This is Ellie at 7 weeks.
And this is Angus at 7 weeks.
We got some happy news confirmed for us. Both are in their Forever Homes, and have been for some time. Do you want to know the fun part? The shelter they were in had lots and lots of kittens. Meanwhile, there was a sister shelter in South Australia who had interested adopters, but very few kittens. So a plane load of kittens was sent from Townsville to Adelaide to fulfil the demand. Ellie and Angus were on that plane! Unfortunately we weren't able to get photos of them when they were bigger, but it makes us very happy to think of them in good homes. We are also thankful for the lengths the shelter went to in order to give them the best chance of finding those homes.
Daisy the Curly Cat, I blame you and your mention of the Build a Bear store for this!
Hello!
You know how my brother Harry was unwell? And then he got better? Right about the time Harry was really looking good, Ron got sick. He had exactly the same symptoms as Harry. At one stage, he even went completely limp.
Just like Harry, 24 hours later he is also looking good and eating well. The vet said it just happens with some kittens. We're still worried about something contagious, so are being extra vigilant with cleaning and disinfecting.
I am strong as an ox, and show no signs of any illness. In fact, I'm probably stronger than the biggest ox that chases all the other oxen around all day. But then, I am a girl ;)
To all my friends in the Blogosphere,
From the mum-
Edit-
We make mum have long hot scrubby showers the second she gets home!!!!!
We also got better and better at eating our foods. And of course, making a mess.
I found a prime napping position infront of the heater. The furs on my belleh got nice and toasty.
Before long, the boys joined me to get in on the warming act.
On Friday, we get to meet our foster mum's mum and dad. Fui and Suey said they are really nice, so we are excited.
If I look one way, I can keep an eye on my garden. If I look another way, I can watch my mum and dad when they are in the kitchen. And if I look a third way, I can watch my dad on the computer and through to the lounge. It is a prime snoopervision spot. It also allows me to keep an eye on my cat grass. I have busted Kitten the Vet Cat in my garden, eating my cat grass!
Here is a picture of the babies having a snuggle to take you into the weekend. They are very happy to be back together. Ron has still not been suckling on his siblings, so we are hoping that we have passed that stage.
I must admit, they are a little bit cute.
We are all eating it now. I am a darn sight neater than Hermione and Ron. They dive right in, and get really really messy!
This picture is called 'Hermione-Busted!'. It is to prove that she is not always the pretty little thing she has looked like so far on the blog. She does a very good impression of a piglet!
Hahahaha!
While we were seperated, we were in two crates that were kept side by side. That meant we could see, smell and hear each other. It helped us to stay bonded.
We are all really happy to be back together, and have been doing lots of playing together.
There were some comments yesterday about how Ron looked like he is really coming along. That is very correct! He is full of beans. He does a funny little skip when he is racing about that our foster mum says is goooooorgeous.
We have been learning to drink out of a dish over the last few days. Harry and I are both really good at it now, but Ron is a bit of a slower learner. We think he will learn quite quickly from our example. Today, I had my first crunchies, mixed up and softened in my formula. I quite enjoyed it!:)
My foster mum says that Harry reminds her of Fuifui. They are both very laid back, mellow kitties who like to sit back and have cuddles while watching the action around them. This picture is to prove that he does still sometimes get in on the fun! Nice bite action, Harry!:)
Happy Hump Day, everybuddy:)
